Kelly and Curtis - the Roc has gripped Diadem in its talons. One can attempt to attack it; the Rocs have a defense of 3. There are four Rocs chasing the career pack. As you have made a succusful run, you can post right to the Cliffs thread OR you can combat the Roc. If you combat them, you will have to continue to make 1 running post when you attempt to leave the horn.

Hello!
In Tidal Peninsula, I've injected all the plotty that I plan to. I know you two have plot of your own for your characters, so take your time laying that out Mike & Tiffany. As we started Tidal on May 5, I'll be moving us to daylight as soon as you indicate that you are ready. Career pack, hows your night going?

Riven ate a serving of chicken pot pie at night and drank from Diadem's water skin upon reaching the Cliffs.

I'm pasting this in here for the players of mentors.
Mentors will now be interacting with tributes in Mentor Thread & Apartment thread. This Games; there will also be a new aspect of the Game introduced: The Sponsor Hall.
Mentors will go to the sponsor hall and interact with sponsors socially to convince them to support their tributes. They will sell their tributes 'angle', defend and explain questionable actions on the part of their tributes. Sponsors will then support or not support the chosen tribute. Credits donated at the Sponsor Hall are in the custodianship of the mentor; doled out in the form of parachutes whenever they wish. Mentors can also slip in a message (8 words max) in with parachutes.
Mentor Merit Tributes with mentor merit (1) can be sent any level one item at any time once per game day; regardless of bank account. Mentors can also send messages (10 word max) at any time.
Tributes with mentor merit (2) can be sent any level two item at any time once per game week; regardless of bank account. Mentors can also send messages (10 word max) at any time.
Mentors also have the ability to roll Manipulation & Socialize OR Manipulation & Persuasion once per game day. Any suxx = 100 credits. For example, 2 suxx = 200 credits.
You can see that having a PC mentor will greatly help a district!
Tiffany, Kelly, Mike & Jake feel free to post your roll in here for night 1.

Tank rolled 2 dice to "Manipulation & Socialize" 5,3 (0 successes) Conrad Miles rolled 5 dice to "Manipulation & Persuasion" 7,4,4,9,7 (1 success)
Well apologies to District 7, but Tank and Conrad aren't contributing a huge amount for Night 1 by the looks of it. Tank's clearly not talkative enough when it comes to sponsors (or in general come to that...)

Hello every one. If you would like to participate in the horn thread, please post to the thread ASAP. The situation with Silver and Rory will be resolved by Friday the 31st, so if you want to participate be sure to do so.
The three day grace period for post activity has been reached by a few players today. Please remember that tributes who have not been posted for in three days shall perish. I'll extend the time to post until this time tomorrow.

Sounds good! Every one, I updated the HG thread as its resolving tonight and I'm going to be gone until 10 P.M.! Get whatever in there your character needs to say and do. The next game event is going to be insane. I'll try and get it up after work today, we'll see if I have to work OT
Please make any purchases you need before the game event starts. Your character will be exactly as they are in this thread, so make any xp purchases and update your inventory.

Hey guys, I have a lot of information to lay out for you guys for the Game Maker event. I haven't unveiled it yet in character because I feel that you haven't had enough time to respond to the horn. If you are ready to move on, go ahead and post in here. If not, I'm going to wait through tomorrow at least. The information contained below are SPOILERS about an upcoming game maker event. I will remove the spoiler tags once the event is posted. Feel free to read now if you want to plan, but be warned, spoilers! The ground beneath your feet trembles and then roars. Seismic shifts unbalance those around you as you fight to keep your balance. Cracks begin to split the ground ten yards from the horn, causing sand to siphon down into the black. The cliffs become more daunting as sand and misplaced dirt from the shifts are shoved up against the cliffs. You are suddenly knocked off of your feet by a more dramatic shift in the crust. You hit the ground and begin to slide as the ground of cornucopia begins to tilt. It tilts un - naturally to a steep, straight angle that causes you to slide towards a large fissure in the ground. You slide down into the fissure on sand into total darkness. You tumble downwards for a few moments until you come to a stop against cool, smooth stone. Amber torch light from within a stone cavern lends light to your darkened area. You realize you must be underground somewhere beneath the horn at the Cornucopia. The ground here seems stable now and a large stone doorway is your only way forward. Looking back the way you had fallen, you realize that you can not climb up the steep and angled piece of arena floor. Sand constantly streams down over your whole area. You are forced to step out of sand 'down spouts', swat sand off of your head and shoulders while emptying out your sandals. You wonder if the sand will become an avalanche if you don't move... The stone door that you face is five feet wide and ten feet tall, flanked by two large stone pillars. You see the edge of a thick slab of stone at the top of the door - this slab will slide down to close the door, there are no handles. That slab must weigh a ton. Warm light bathes you from within from torches set in mounts on the wall. You see a line of water eight inches wide and several deep that runs along three sides of the wall. The north wall has a babbling waterfall that feeds into this water display. The water filters out through the floor through small filters in the west and east sides of the room. The first room features two giant and hideous statues. You recognize one as the Roc from this arena; standing at seven feet tall. The second is a large Orca, seven feet tall and ten in length. Shadows pool around these statues. You also note two small recesses in the east and west walls that are black, pockets of shadow. If one were to hide, this would be the ideal room with poor visibility and the babbling water that could cover up the sounds of oneself. The second room is through another stone door, a twin to the first stone door in both height and the sliding stone slab. The door to this second room is fifteen feet from the first door. In this 'weapons' room, there is a long wooden table upon which many types of weapons had been laid out. There the usual weapons that are provided at every feast such as axes and bows, swords and spears. You also see unusual weapons such as katanas, brass knuckles, nets, wooden clubs and whips. A complete list of weapons [all are +3]: - 4 Axes
- 4 blowguns
- 4 sets of brass knuckles
- 4 chakrams
- 4 knives
- 4 katanas
- 4 sets of throwing axes (10)
- 4 sets of throwing knives (10)
- 4 sets of throwing shurikens (10)
- 4 swords
- 4 spears
- 4 throwing nets
- 4 wooden clubs
- 4 whips
On each side of the table, there are 2 quivers with 20 arrows apiece for a total of 4 quivers and 80 arrows. There are also a case of (20) blow gun darts at each corner of the table. *OOC you may pick up two items per turn. You may choose to walk into either room one or room two. There is a third room that is a 'ladder' room and has various exits. The stone doors hold open for exactly one minute. After that they slam shut and do not open for five minutes. Essentially, you could be trapped outside of the cavern with the falling sand, in the first room or in the weapons room for up to 10 turns. I will tell you when the doors open and you can quickly post moving from room to room or back again.
