Lily couldn't help but look amused at Ember's appearance, wondering if she'd fought the pig in her arms bare-handed what with all the dirt on her.
"I didn't go near the Jungle... Ember must have seen me from the trees?" Lily hazarded a guess before getting back to the more important subject for discussion.
"Yes, Lacey and two others approached us with an offer of a temporary alliance to take down the Careers together at twilight. On one hand it would be fantastic to take the Careers out of the Games and they did offer to split any loot 50/50 with us..."
Lily sighed in frustration, rubbing the back of her head with her right hand.
"I dunno... so many ways this could go wrong but I think if we could kill off the Careers it's worth a shot."

"You realized I stabbed her in the face, right?" 'Charming' is as dirty as Ember is, any exposed skin covered in mud and dirt. Still, he smiles. "I stabbed her int he face, and she hit me in the head with a staff. "If it's all the same to you? She's not coming within touching distance of me with that staff of her's. On pain of me finishing the job."
There's a look to Ember. Did he think that the more people they had against the Careers the better? Sure he did. Did he think that as soon as all that was over tey were leaving and not giving Lacey or any of the others a chance to turn on them?
Damned right.
"Whatever. If you think we need more eight people to kill three and a half Careers? Fine."

"No, that completely slipped our minds." Coral replied to Jan. "We remember. It's something that we've been debating..." She glances back towards Lily, her face conflicted. "I'm pretty convinced that one of us is going to get knocked aside the head as soon as somebody dies."
Sassinak was walking out towards the fence with another set of tin targets when she saw the tributes by the gate. She immediately tensed and reached for her bow, before she recognized the four.
"They're back!" She shouted towards Felix. She dropped the tin cans at the ground and walked over to the gate, unlocking it. "Be careful." She advised. "Best follow me, we've set some traps around."
She gave an appreciative look to the pig Ember had trussed up. "Excellent!"
The girl began slowly leading the way back towards the factory, around the traps.

Practicing with the bow was probably the closest thing to fun he was going to have in the Games, and now that he knew he could probably fare will in a fight from a relatively safe distance with this weapon, he didn’t feel as useless or as much of a liability as he did before.
He jumped when Sassinak exclaimed that they had returned, and he grinned. Her reaction caused him to assume that all of them were accounted for, and he used his magic helmet to make sure.
When the small group returned, Felix smiled at all of them warmly. “You can’t imagine how glad I am that all four of you came back alive.” He said with a sigh of relief before looking from the two pairs.
“You found water and food?” He asked.

"Just so long as we're all on the same page."
Jan made sure to follow Sassinak's path through the traps exactly. That would be a really stupid way to die, after all. If he went out in these Games, he'd go out on his own terms.
Not falling in a trap laid by his allies.
"We got a pig and mangos." Which they could cook and have a good meal. And then they'd get moving on setting more things up to go against the Careers.
"Izzy. We're back." It's said into the earpiece. He was just hoping she answered him.

"Tasty." Sassinak appreciated. She led the group through the yard and up the stairs into the factory. Boomer was within, working on his own projects; enjoying the factory tools. "Hello, Boomer." Sassinak greeted. "Every one's back. Did you two find water?" She looks towards Lily and Coral.
"Yeah, we found a river." Coral replied. "But Lacey and her group were staking out the river. They were whispering, saying that the Careers were around."
"Good." Isolde's voice came over Jan and Ember's ear pieces. "Coral and Lily headed out to the Hidden City for awhile. Sassinak and Felix had target practice. Nothing else happened. Is that a pig?"

"Yes, we brought back water." Lily produced the lone jar from her bag.
"Coral has more in her pack, but I think we should boil this before we drink it..."
Lily again relayed the tale of how Lacey's trio had offered them an opportunity to team up and take out the Careers with a designated meeting time of Twilight tonight.

As the group discussed the nights event, four parachutes drifted into the factory yard. Jan's parachute contained - Compass
- Binoculars
- 2 apples, 2 oranges, 2 bananas
- 2 baked ham and cheese sandwiches
Felix received a parachute containing - Quiver
- 30 Arrows
- Chest Plate
Sassinak received a parachute containing - two cans of non perishable food
- 1 canteen (16 oz) full of water
Coral received - two cans of non perishable food
- medical kit
Lily received a parachute with - two cans of non perishable food
- turkey (4 servings)
Boomer and Felix worked on constructing Felix a pair of crutches. Once they were constructed, Felix was able to slowly hobble under his own power. It cheered Sassinak greatly. As the daylight waned, Coral gathered her gear together and advised that the group depart. It was an hour until twilight, giving time to meet with Lacey's alliance. If the group departs, they move to the Hidden City
