The apartment was on the 11th floor and was quite spacious. You walk into a main room decorated in silver and purple; with a great purple couch facing a grand television. It could have fit ten people; easily. Priya shows Sorrel to her room - the second on the left wing - and Jasmine hers, the first on the left wing. Odin's room was on the opposite side of the main room. Small platters of treats - fruit cups, fruit tarts and miniature pecan pies were set on a bar beside a dining table. Two pitchers held yellow and pink liquid- one was lemonade, the other some sugary drink that tasted like strawberries. Odin immediately poured himself lemonade and asked if any one wanted one. He would pour the glasses for the young women; carrying them to the main couch. Sorrel sank into the couch, playing with the hem of her dress. It was a silky green material. Jasmine knew that she had its twin in her closet - as well as dresses in hues of periwinkle, fuchsia and of course, jasmine. Odin wore a black shirt, but his jacket had green lining. It was all so rich. "That Silver is a punk." Odin remarked. "You see him go after that girl at lunch? No reason for that."Sorrel Odin

Jasmine Coverfield, District 11 Female
"Yeah. He's a real piece of work." Jasmine sat on the couch and accepted a glass of the lemonade from Odin. The pink sugary drink had given her a headache last time she'd tried it, which hardly inclined her to try it again. She wore chocolate brown silk trousers, that didn't feel terribly substantial but were incredibly comfortable, and a matching blouse with a soft blue cover jacket. She cradled the glass and neglected to sip from it. "Klo, think that's the name of th'crazy witch from District 1, ain't much better. Half bettin' her stunt with th'knife was all jus' a way to get in good with the other careers. What're y'all's feeling on them?"

"I think that they're going to try and kill us." Odin emphasized. "We need to get far away from them as soon as we can. I saw you talking to some people at lunch. What was that about?"

"They're all gonna try'n'kill us," Jasmine said, matter-of-factly. "Except maybe the girl from 8, Femra. She doesn't seem to have it in her to kill someone on purpose," it didn't help matters that Jasmine had taken a liking to the girl, "I was talking shop 'bout establishin' an alliance to make sure the careers don't unfairly take another games. Likely won't last past the last career droppin', but... Strength in numbers, right?"

"How well do you know Femra?" Sorrel inquired, sipping her drink. She licked her lips at the sweetness. "Or all of those people in that big group?" Her tone was earnest.

"I dunno any o'em terribly well," Jasmine admitted. She continued to simply hold her drink. She wasn't ashamed to admit the fact she didn't know her alliance terribly well. "But some seem mer honest than some. I trust Femra more'n'I do Jace, fer example."

"Well, thats always good to know how you feel about people. " Sorrel replied. "You don't want to be stuck in a sticky place. "
She looked over to Odin. "I know that we're planning on striking out."

Jasmine looked between the two of them, twisting the glass in her hands. Strike out? Like... getting themselves killed? She frowned. If it she didn't win the games, she'd prefer that Odin or Sorrel or Femra won out. And certainly not a career. She sighed and put the glass of lemonade on the table before the couch. "Strikin' out as in... leavin' everybody? Or... Something else? Also... I wanna propose we leave each other alone, help one another even, 'till we're the only ones left... alrighty?"

"We are going to strike out from Cornucopia." Sorrel affirmed. "You want to propose a truce?"
"We're not comfortable with that big alliance you got going on." Odin stated, plainly. "You may trust them; but I don't know them. Way too many eyes and too many knives for me to sleep at all."

"Yeah, a truce... Among us three," Jasmine said. She was about to go on when she was cut off by Odin. She didn't trust all of the alliance... just a couple of them, and even then she wasn't entirely certain she could trust those couple. She looked to Odin. "Yeah, I get'cha. An' can't blame yuh. But if they help meh survive th'careers... I'm willin' tuh risk it. Our plan ain't tuh take Cornucopia either. Tha's Career territory. What I'm proposin' is tuh have our own li'l truce 'ere. Just us in this room. We, at worst 'til we're th'only ones left, leave each other alone an' at best help each other out if we meet in the Arena. I'd rather have a District 11 person win this, if it ain't me, than anyone else at all."

Odin looks to Jasmine, studying her in silence. After several moments of thoughtful silence, Odin replies slowly with much thought behind his words. "A truce sounds good." The large boy decided. It sort of assumes we're able to stay out of each others' way."

Jasmine returned Odin's look in silence. She didn't figure pushing would cause him to side favorably with the truce she was proposing between the District 11 Tributes. She looked to Sorrel as Odin spoke, trying to judge her stand on it. Jasmine felt that the other female tribute would side with her.
She returned her gaze to Odin and smiled. "Yeah... we stay out of each others' way an' actively try to keep it that way until ours are the only faces not to have shown on the sky."

"Sounds fair. Cornucopias going to get real nasty real quick." He was clearly dwelling on the fact that the careers had a knack for killing off district 11's tributes quickly.
"I'd rather grab something and get away... is that what your alliance is doing?" Sorrel glanced towards Jasmine with curiosity.

"It's called the bloodbath for a reason," Jasmine muttered in response to Odin's comment. She had no intention of sticking around the Cornucopia any longer than she had to. She then nodded to Sorrel's question. "Yeah. That's pretty much the plan in a nutshell. We don't think we can compete wit' the careers on that sort-a turf. All in their favor an' all... but lure 'em out an' pick 'em off as they get hungry and strung out... Fighting them in th'open's the last thing we wanna do."

"Yes, that sounds like suicide. I'd feel much better with distance between us and them... but luring them?" Sorrel tilted her head as she considered the idea. "They are on the television." Odin indicated the television playing promo. PromoThe woman navigated the control and the television screen filled with arriving trains. You see Emerald, Silver and Emily step from their train, turning towards the cameras. Emerald's red hair is offset by a green scarf and she gives a radiant smile, posing for the cameras. Her pose is alluring and she cuts a slim, flattering figure in a tight fitting green dress. Emily gives the cameras a wave; but she's more composed. Emily's smile is sweet; but not exuding confidence as Emerald does. Emily - at 12 years of age - is wearing an age - appropriate dress of clover green, her blonde hair falls in a shimmering curtain down her back. Silver smiles - although it turns into a menace. He struts towards the cameras for a few steps, then surveys them with his arms crossed and his lips curved in a frown. Compared to the girls, he looks strong, tall and fit. Emerald Silver Emily "I wonder if they'll protect the girl - and the knife girl, Klo." He wondered.

"As long as they're useful," Jasmine said, turning toward the television and the promo. "I'd imagine they'll toss both of them to the wolves before either of each other."
She looked at the screen, then her fellow tributes. "Emerald'n'Silver are the strong ones in tha' pairin'. Emily's only along for the ride as long as she can be used to get sponsors, and when her blood's of more interest to the sick-o's in th'capital... Expect to see her face in the sky. As fer Klo... she's a loose cannon."
