Hello,
I want to invite you to come in here and discuss the Hunger Games RPG on RPC here. Its a free form discussion, so bring up what interests you and what you are interested in seeing for 35. I will be posting polls and discussions into this general discussion as a directory.
Something I mentioned to Tiffany is I would like a fanfiction directory of Hunger Games. I have begun to write #24 and #25 as written on RPC. It was not as easy as I thought to convert all those hundreds of posts into a story that flows. I will try and finish before #35 launches. I have written a fanfiction for the #31st Hunger Games. If you have written fanfiction, please share the link if you would like to have a fanfiction directory.
Updating the Victors List - I would appreciate it if someone would like to write up the victors and their winning style for the last two Games. I was a bit close to the characters and may be a bit biased! These Games were created by the group and not me by myself; so it should represent all of our views in the Victor List.
I would also like every one who controls a Victor - several of you control more than one - to think about what your character is up to. I would like to make a 'Who's Who'? Guide and perhaps an interview before the #35th Games. Sort of like a preview after the Reaping and before the Tribute Training Scores.
I was thinking a paragraph of the victor and a paragraph of the victor's family. Have they married? Have children?
There is going to be a direct tie in to victors and a lot more opportunities for victor's & the surviving family members of past tributes. I would like to add in at least a month of 'free time' in the districts before & after the Games to develop people we came to know - Alder, Cedar, the Coltons - Tank. I know that Rowan and Apple were my favorites, so I'll make vignettes. I also had a small side plot with Lyme & the Colton - Clay if Kelly & Tiffany are still interested.
We briefly mentioned a 'training camp' for tributes. I was thinking on it a bit more and fleshed it out a bit. Let me know your feedback on this:
The Mayors of each district approach our PC mentors. They have been asked to present a 'pre - selected' list of tributes for the Reaping by the Capital. This means that the Mentors and Mayors will not be persecuted for training a select few children in skills for the games. We can decide the numbers but I had a rough idea of the mentors training ten children and then deciding who to present to the Mayor at the end. Some Victors may want to leave it up to chance and give the Mayor a list of ten possibilities, while other Victors may make the tough choice and pick the male and female tributes themselves. This does mean the Victors can choose not to have any 12 year olds enter and choose those best suited for the games.
I know that Lyme's sub plot means that district 9 is a bit ahead of the game, but I'll try and make it even for four, six, seven, eleven and twelve. I was also thinking that PC tributes can be trained by mentors. This allows a new player to have one on one training for some time on the Games. I was thinking that these tributes could be given a bonus xp to represent this time training. What do you think?

Olivia Sewell: Co-Victor of the 27th Games It had been eight years since her victory. Eight years since she left Caleb’s body in the Arena. Three months after her Victory Tour with Zale, Caleb Jonah Hunnington was born. CJ for short. There were rumors that the child could be Zale’s rumors she didn’t deny or confirm. But if anyone laid eyes on her son, they’d see a mirror image of the boy’s father. Save for his hair which is a brilliant red, not unlike his mothers. Olivia has seen then found a home in District Four. She had become a healer in the district. Or as she likes to say, “I heal the body. Zale heals the spirit.” Her marriage to Zale was surprising but accepted by the Capitol. Though there are rumors that the marriage isn’t real. To Liv and Zale the marriage is as real as it needs to be. She returns only once a year to her home, District Six for two weeks. She spends time with her mother, and her brother Paxton, who is married with two children, Jonah (J.P. for short); 4, and Livana; 2. She has even spent time with her brother Callum who remains childless. Her grandfather died five years ago and he is buried where so many of District Six natives are put to rest: the Train Graveyard. Stats:Age (as of HG 35): 26 How she won: Kill Count: Notable Feats: Fan Fiction of Games:Not Yet Notable Relationships:Zale Sewell: District Six Mentors: District Four Mentors: Ember Colton: Co-Victor of the 26th Games It had been nine years since her victory. And it’s not incorrect in saying that her and her prince charming, Jan Colton have been busy. Eight kids. Eight. WTF?! Ember wanted to stop at five. And at six. And at seven… At this point she knows the routine. She pops out a kid or twins she looks at Jan and swears that this time is the last time. Some time later he gives her that look and nine months later… boom! Baby or Babies. She spends most of her time in District Nine. And yeah there’s a lot of resentment from her D12 peeps on that subject. But she saw a way out of the Seam and she took it. Her victor’s manion is largely unoccupied for most of the year save for the week before the Reaping. There Ember entertains a small cadre of childhood friends and few kids from the old neighborhood. When she’s in District 12 she takes care of her people. But this place still will always hold so many bad memories. This will still be the place her whole family is dust. Stats:Age (as of HG 35): 27 How they won: Kill Count: 6 (Tied for Second Highest Kill Count) Notable Feats: Fan Fiction of Games:Not Yet Notable Relationships:Jan Colton: Lyme: Hiram: Silver: He hates her. She likes to push his buttons. They’ve had sparring matches during the Capitol Feasts. Right now she’s up 2 to 1. Diadem: They have a relationship of respected peers. Ember no longer holds any ill-will. Her victoy has shown her that in some ways, Cinder was better off. The Resistance/Rebels: Aurora Laurentius: Co-Victor of the 25th Games In many ways Aurora has lost more since her victor then she did in obscurity. Aurora's family, her father, her uncles, and cousins, save for Wistar were all killed for insurrection. A trumped punishment when their only crime was being related to her. Aurora has since become a model citizen at least on the surface. She is still outspoken but she knows her limits. But she has since become isolated in District Seven, as her marriage to June Laurentius has proved not to be a sham but the real thing. There is even a rumor that Aurora and June are expecting their first child. Those rumors have existed since their marriage started, so probably to be taken with a grain of salt. She spends a lot of time with Wistar, and his new wife, Max. Yes that Max, Jan's little sister. Also, as if late, Chase, the Victor from the 30th Games is another person she is seen with quite a bit. Which add to the baby rumors, given Chase's profession in town. Stats:Age (as of HG 35): 25 How they won: Kill Count: 2 Notable Feats: Fan Fiction of Games:Not Yet Notable Relationships:June Laurentius: Apple: Brenden: Tank: Conrad: Rowan: Jasmine Cloverfield: Jan Colton: Ember Colton: The Resistance/Rebels:

Fantastic! I'll be working on my favorite babies - Cypress' family of Cedar & Rowan.
Cedar is now a young man of twenty two. Gone is the child that a villiage had helped to raise. Cedar has grown into a thoughtful and sensitive young man, the sole child of a woman who has began to deal with the loss of her eldest. His mother Katherine has now mostly recovered and resumes her job at the paper mill. Three years past, Cedar and his new wife Jane Rosewood moved into a small home close to his mother's home. They have welcomed a first born son last year, a red headed little tot- affectionately called 'Ward'. Jane plans to resume her job as a woodcarver in the spring. Cedar works as a lumberjack in the woods; an integal part of his crew. Cedar has retained his sweet smile that many remember from his youth. The birth of his child has loosened some of the tension that many had glimpsed - the only child syndrome is compounded with survivor's guilt. The kind patience of Jane has helped him work through that there is only so much that he can do. Cedar has began to walk by the Victor's Villiage, searching for the best friend his sister ever had - Conrad.
Rowan is now a married woman going by Rowan White and is now 26 years of age. As a young woman, she was frequently referred to by her faustrated mother as 'stubborn as a mule'. The victor prickly as ever and resisted her mother's attempts of matchmaking until her twentieth birthday. A visiting dignitary happened to stop by from the Capital and the two seemed to hit it off. There was a whirlwind courting and the wedding was arranged barely five months after the first meeting. The husband - Grant White - occasionally departs District 7 to visit the Capital or District one on buisness. Rowan works as a jewelery maker - favoring wooden carvings that become necklaces or are woven into one of her bracelets. Rowan has remarked that she'd like to visit Jasmine and Sorrel, the fellow alliance members. Rory, Tank, Conrad and Apple are aware that she occasionally is allowed long distance phone calls to district 11 - normally before a Game and disguised as 'Alliance discussions', although to her friends she admits they mostly discuss the difficult parts of her past.
Rowan and Grant have welcomed three children - Georgine, Grant Jr. and Ginger. As of the promo for the #35th Hunger Games, the children are five, four and two and a half years old. Rowan loves her children dearly and tends to lead her children around town in the mornings, introducing them to the citizens and the different aspects of district life. She is adamently resisting Capital influence over thier children, something that her fellow mentors know is a point of contention in her marriage. Rowan brought her eldest to the Capital on a Tour when he was an infant; something that was widely publiziced. Rowan confided to Rory and Conrad that the whole tour was an ordeal and she found it difficult arguiing with the press people about how many pictures and filming sesions her child was subjected to. She has stated that she will be leaving the children with Grant when she returns to mentor in the 35th hunger Games. Rowan took a sabbatical for two of the Games as they were near the births of Grant Jr. and Ginger. She has stated that she looks forward to rejoinig her allies.
Secret - District Seven mentors will know that Rowan was abducted after thier victory. She was held for three weeks at an indisclosed place for an indisclosed reason the month before her twentieth birthday. Upon her return, she had visible marks of sleep deprivation and stress. She confides only that the Capital suspects the District Seven mentors of rebel action and she was being interrogated. Rowan had been threatened with a Capital husband, as Rory was. Rowan managed to negotiate for her capital husband, choosing a man that was, in her words 'the lesser of three evils'. The public opinion of the courtship is a fraud as Grant and Rowan were both pressured into the marriage. Rowan had made a deal that her children - and Rory's children - are ineligiable to be reaped. There was refusal about any potential children of Apple, Conrad or Tank.

Jan and Ember. Or as The Capitol calls them: Janber. They spend most of their time in District 9, in Jan's house, where they raise their family. Since their Victory, they got married--in a huge Capitol wedding, in a private District Twelve Toasting, and in a smaler, District 9 Festival with their family and friends. Six months later, Ember gave birth to twin boys. Yes. Six months. They were busy. The twin boys were named Jacob Josiah and Felix Wistar. Jan often says that they 'are named after the four most amazing men I've ever known.'. His twin brother--who was killed in the Quarter Quell. His father who died just after the 27th Games. The boy from District Seven who Jan killed to win his Victory, and Wistar Noland--the ony one of those men who is still alive. A year later--at the 29th Games--there were two more babies. Twin girls named Cinder and Isolde. Everyone see the theme? Over the next years, they had four more children. Jaspar, Lily, Dylan, and Udell. Jan has more than met his goal of 'beating his parents' when it comes to the sheer number of children he has, and there isn't a single one of them he loves more than he loves the others. He calls them his Princes and Princesses, for all his swagger, they have him wrapped around their fingers to an extent even Ember can't claim. ----- [We will, of course, work out Haven and the Secret Training. ]

Zale has never been accused of doing anything halfway. He also keeps his promises. If it kills him,he keeps his promises.
So when there was even teh sliver of a hint of a whisper as to the 'Courting' of Olivia Hunnington--and his own subsequent forcible marriage at some juncture--Zale did what he'd sworn himself to do the moment Caleb fell in the Twenty-Seventh Hunger Games:
He made a move--a bold, public move--to protect Olivia.
At a public event, Zale did as he'd seen others do in the Districts, getting down on one knee and publicly and on camera asked Olivia to marry him. Her shock was genuine, of course, but she must have seen something on his face. A certain desperation in Zale's usually stoic and steely blue eyes that had her answering in the affirmative, and taking the iron ring he offered her.
Their wedding was very, very public.
In private--as Pledging always was--he'd promised to be her Champion. TO protect her and her son. To see to it that they were taken care of and safe unto his last, dying breath.
And nothing more.
There've been no children and there never will be. They keep separate bedrooms, and Zale has taken to teaching CJ everything his own father taught him.
Zale has become a fortune teller in the District, but he also honors Riva as a Warrior-Priest.
Also: his ongoing war with shoes and boots is a thing of much amusement to Capitol Stylists and even patrons. At some point in a formal evening, Zale will inevitably slip out of his shoes and wander the room barefoot.

Excellent!
I've decided to trim out some things that I don't think were fun roleplaying and add in more opportunities for victors to affect things. On the tribute front, I will reformat the tribute gear list and the Cornucopia. Now instead of picking one thing from a list, I will list what is in each section of the Cornucopia ( the outer Ring and the Horn). I will have a map showing the distance from the pedestal, where the outer ring ends and where the Horn begins. The tribute can choose to remain on the outer or run to the horn knowing the exact distances and how long it will take with their speed.
There will be a Victor led focus group for the #35th Hunger Games. Slated about six weeks before the Reaping for the #35th games, certain victors are called to the Capital. The D7 plot is Conrad and Rowan were asked secretly, but Conrad can't be found and Rowan hates secrecy and has decided to gather the entire d7 victors before accepting the invitation envelope. The focus group story line composes of four focus groups - composed of four victors, from two districts - for a total of sixteen victors - looking over the two choices for the #35th Arena. Your victors will decide to survey the Supernatural Arena or the Jurassic Arena. One of your victors will attend the focus group, but you can't have more than one victor attend. You will have a behind the scenes view of the Arena - Beatrienne will guide you into the work shop, you will see videos of past experiments (yes, the Game makers have dropped people into the 'test arenas' ) and you will watch six live contestants in the Arena of your choice. You will tell the Gamemakers how to set up the Game and how to help the contestants survive longer. Most importantly, your eight victors will meet with the eight victors who surveyed the other choice. You will present which arena you want - Jurassic or Supernatural. You will vote. Majority rules and you will select the arena for the #35th Hunger Games. You will have some priveldedged information to help your tributes.
Details on new Gear List
There will be x amount of items availiable and you choose items the same way- you post a 5 sentence post and you pick up whatever you want.
For example, outer horn has [+1] weapons, six of each type) while the Horn has [+2] weapons, ten of each type. You must remember to read each other's posts and deduct what they are taking from the availiable items - I'll try and update the availiable gear list 2 a day, but it will be the writer's responsibility to state accurately what they take for others' to account for and to deduct other's choices who posted before thier iniatiative.
Is there anything else that would sound like fun for you?

Okay so I've read the inventory thingy. And I have to say, I'm interested in how it works out. I say let's try it out. If it doesn't work we could always go back to the original way of playing. Also I’m posting my family submissions here first so we can go over them together before posting a truncated version of the submissions in the formal thread. I hope that’s cool. The Norths: Notable District Ten Family The Norths were a prominent family even before the dark days. Thomas North was Rebellion Leader during the war. He paid for his beliefs with his life. He’d leave behind at least one son Clayton North, by his only wife, Josephine. Clayton was 15 when the first Hunger Games was played. Nearly reaped during the 3rd Hunger Games if it wasn’t for an older cousin from a large family. When his mother passed from fever just after the 4th Hunger Games, Clayton took over the family ranch. Sometime later he’d marry a woman of former ill-repute, Maggie. They’d have four children all together, Clay Jr (23), Peyton [Victor of the 30th Hunger Games] (20), Hadley (16), and Billie (14), who is their only daughter. It’s rumored that Maggie had another son, by the name of Lucas but he was taken to the Capitol. If that’s so, Clayton Sr. and Maggie don’t talk about it. The Norths were again put in the spotlight when Peyton North, who at the time was only 15 won the 30th Hunger Games. He became the first District Ten Victor in 9 years. Which granted isn’t as bad as the 17 year gap before that but still. It’s been five years since that victory and surprise no District Ten Victors. Come the 35th Hunger Games not only are the Norths gonna be hoping that District Ten has a victor but that there’s a rule change that will give both of the District Ten Tributes a chance to go home.

Hello,
Yes, that sounds good, Tiffany. The Norths sound like a good family to add into the games. What was the story given around town for the Capital?
I also wanted to go over the Sewell Royal family story line as one of the district four families (if we don't get a playable character) will have been involved heavily in the protection of the Sewell family; giving up a son of their own for defiance. This will be the Wakefield family - hopefully we can get the Wakefields and Zale & Liv together to mesh out some things in character.
I did want to bring up Tiffany's idea of every one taking one of the gap years and writing what happened. Have we heard from any of our regular writers? I saw Jake poke his head in, but no response.
The 'victors choose the arena' is also a story line that will be fun to do, I think. Once we close up the Haven in D9 and the Proposal in D7, let me know if you want to set up for that story line. It would be involved and a lot of fun, sort of political in socializing with other victors and convincing people of your way of thinking. Your victor will be directly choosing the set up of the arena and will be given some insight and sneak peeks at aspects of the Games.

Considering Zale's last name is Sewell? LOL. Definitely doable. Zale is the youngest of three children. It's entirely possible that his brother or sister has a child or children of Reaping Age. After all, CJ is what? 7 or 8? Totally possible for Zale's brother's son or his sister's daughter to be Reaped. I'm game.

Hi Kelly, that is cool. The Wakefields were assisting in the Resistance back when Zale's family was targeted. In the outcome, the Atlantic family had a child murdered in an 'accidental drowning' fifteen years ago. Sunshine Atlantic wed Warren Wakefield and she has become the mother of *many* children... sort of wondering would district 4 relate her to the Coltons? We should explore that, perhaps - how the different districts view each other. We could go over Sewells history and try and find some way to link in the Wakefield family; so there is a family tie between them.

I really didn't give much thought to Zale's family history nor his extended family. He's the youngest of three, so his family being some sort of pre-Dark Days Royalty in District Four could be possible and it was still permitted for him to train for the Games. He was, after all, a Career Tribute, and the baby of the family.
His brother and his sister had vocations already: His father and brother fished the shallows as spear fishermen, and his sister had been training with the healers--Morgan's family--before they were killed.
Zale's father could very well be some sort of heir. He had trained as a warrior, and had been planning on Volunteering for one of the early Games before he met Zale's mother. Their names--Zale's parents--are Caspian and Mairin.
I never actually named his brother and sister, but I could totally do that. Perhaps...Noah and Gaia.
Noah would be in his thirties, and if he had children young could very well have children of Reaping Age. I'll go with two of them. Ianthe is a boy of fourteen, and reminds many of his uncle if not in temperament, in looks. He's wiry and would be pale if not for how warm and intense the sun is in District Four, and has the same steely blue eyes and black hair as his uncle. Unlike his uncle, however, Ianthe is a ray of sunshine, without a violent bone in his body. His sister Amilee, on the other hand, has long, white=blonde hair and sea green eyes. She's twelve and has the demeanor and intensity of a tiny hurricane. This will be her first Reaping.
Thoughts?

Anne for the Norths, the story about Maggie's eldest boy is basically the worst kept secret in District Ten. Everyone knows what Maggie was before she linked up with Clayton Sr. They also know that she was favored strongly by a Capitol man by the name of Vitus. Vitus heard that he had a son and took him. The older folk know the story. The younger kids don't know the story. Hell, Maggie's children by Clay don't even know they have an older half-brother.

This sounds good! Feel free to enter it as fact in the thread. I have been perfecting the new tribute gear list that I think needs to be tested out.
Tribute Gear list at the Blood Bath HG #3-
The gear is divided into two outer rings & the Cornucopia. You can choose to pick gear from the outer ring, the second ring and then Corncucopia. The gear on the outer ring is less valuable and gear closer to Cornucopia (second ring) is more valuable. The gear is divided into Water, Weapons, Food, Survival, Light, Luggage & Armor like my Bug Out bag guide.
New Aspect #1 Tributes can check for specific bags to help them that were described to them in training
New Aspect #2 If tributes attended the Bug out class, they can pick a backpack filled with 1,500 $ worth of supplies
A test of the new inventory system. A reminder to writers joining Hunger Games for the first time (welcome!) that you must make a complete post to get an item - at least 5 sentences and full sentences (no more than one sentence may be less than five words).
Our test tributes are
Conquer, District 1
Portable stoves Esbit with 4 fuel cubes (40 hours of cooking) 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] Pot for boiling water / cooking (10) MREs (ready to eat meals) Weapon 2 (1) Camoflague kit
Ela, District 4
Portable stoves Esbit with 4 fuel cubes (40 hours of cooking) Weapon (+1) 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] Pot for boiling water / cooking Weapon 2 (1) bag of 6 apples
Lithium, District 5
Book of matches (10 water proof matches) (1) Can of Spam (1) Camoflague kit (1) tarp 9 X 9 feet (10) MREs (ready to eat meals) Portable stoves Esbit with 4 fuel cubes (40 hours of cooking
Paul, District 6
Weapon 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] Weapon (+1) (1) bag of 6 apples (1) tarp 9 X 9 feet 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY]
Leif, District 7
Weapon (+1) (1) Camoflague kit Weapon (+1) 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] tarp 9 X 9 feet bag of 6 apples
Wova, District 8 (1) 32 ounce water bottle [FULL] (1) Can of Spam 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] (1) tarp 9 X 9 feet Camoflague kit (1) Can of Spam
I entered in seven options from the tribute list and hit 'generate' four times from Random Choice site. There were two list options - Conquer, Ela and Lithium had list 1 with the decision that they entered the second ring and Leif, Paul and Wova had list 2 with the decision to stay on the safer outer edge. I added some better items from the inner ring to the list 2 and a weapon with a [+2] modifier.
List 1: (1) 32 ounce water bottle [FULL] (4) 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] Weapon (+1) (1) Can of Spam (1) tarp 9 X 9 feet (1) Camoflague kit (1) bag of 6 apples Bowl that could hold 32 ounces of water Can of baked beans
List 2:
(1) 32 ounce water bottle [FULL] (4) 32 ounce water bottle [EMPTY] Weapon (+1) Can of Spam tarp 9 X 9 feet Camoflague kit bag of 6 apples Pot for boiling water / cooking Portable stoves Esbit with 4 fuel cubes (40 hours of cooking) (10) MREs (ready to eat meals) Book of matches (10 water proof matches) Nets (fishing, trapping tributes) Wave equievalent multi - tool
My conclusion is that the new tribute gear system will lead to a balanced distribution of gear and that you will be able to custom choose gear that is perfect for your character. It does lend more value to the iniative modifier as if two people go for an item marked (1) - only one is availiable in that area - the tribute with the highest init mod gets there first, forcing the second tribute to make another choice. The three tributes who went to the second ring also seemed to get much better gear and seem much better equipped. Thoughts?
I will be entering some tributes into the sandbox when I get home from work if you'd like to test out the new system - I'll post the halfway finished tribute gear list for us to try.

As its been several days with no posts, the three open threads will be closed. Post in NEW thread request thread to request a continuation thread. No hard feelings, it is simply to keep the forum cleaned up from threads that no longer interest people.
I am going to make a Thread Request Thread for every one to request new threads that need me as GM - any use of a victor whose not a PC, a Game maker, a Mayor, notable families - request the thread in the new thread.
To NEW people, Tiffany (Cutelikemurder) and Kelly (Quinntalon) will be controlling thier own victors, thier past tribute families and characters of thier own creation. Lite, Kulvar & AeonthePhoenix will be controlling thier past victors.

Hello! I've completed a map of the arena today. I've created a 'Plains' area that will have a Stable that the District 10 tributes may feel more confident in. There will also be two animals in the arena that Animal Ken will affect quite well.
I have made a rough outline of the time triggered events of the Games. About how much time would you like per day and night?

Hello Kelly and Tiffany. If you can, please detail the victors that you've mentioned in character here. I have some victors that I will also be introducing in character, but I don't want to contradict what you have introduced. I have a write up for the #31st Hunger Games that I will be working on finishing before we launch. www.fanfiction.net/s/10414852/1/The-31st-Hunger-Games

HG28: THe Male from District 2 won that Game. Tiberius, I believe. It was a very 'normal' game in that The Career Alliance stuck together until the end, and then had a little battle royale at the end of it. Tiberius came out on top, and became the Victor. He was responsible for the death of Dylan Jones of District 4 and a few others.
HG29: Morgan Delmara of District 4. The year after his Pledgemate was killed, Morgan Volunteered. He ended up poisoning the only water source on Day 5. Water was at a premium then, and too expensive for many Sponsors to bother sending to their favorites. After that, it was a scramble for the other Tributes trying ot find water. Eventually, they either died of dehydration or they became desperate enough to drink from the poisoned well. Morgan barely survived--dying of his own poison even--but he was brought back by Capitol Doctors.
HG30: Alexandrite Glass of District 2, Chase Goldman of District 7, and Peyton North of District 10. Alex and Chase teamed up at the very beginning of the Games, and stuck together throughout. Chase was the son of a Doctor, and had taken an Oath to 'Do No Harm'. As such, teaming up with a Career from 2 was seen as genius. He kept her patched up and alive and she, in turn, protected him from Tributes who may see him as an easy mark. Peyton stayed below the radar for the most part, keeping to himself and counting on his survival skills to keep him alive. Toward the end--after the rule-change allowing for THree Victors--Peyton met up with Alex and Chase. After a bloody battle with what remained of the Career Alliance, these three were Crowned Victors.
Those are the only ones we've actually decided on. The rest are up to you.

Hello! I hope that this finds you well. I wanted to mention that I'd be happy to continue the Hunger Games when you are inspired to do so. I know that you've been busy with your novel, so I don't want to seem as though I am pressuring you. I am going to get up some history & back stories and some general in character scenes for you to jump in wherever interests you. See you soon!

Okay, I figured I'll just post here for the fan fiction stuff.
So my idea is to change the nature of the Games so that it's a somewhat original concept.
I'm not sure how the world in which the story takes place got the way it did. But just imagine the state Detriot is in, turn it up to 11, and now you've the state of our world. Since these stories are usually America-centric, I think we should at least make a mention of what is going on in the rest of the world (maybe they're not doing this, maybe they're doing worst things, maybe the country "insert country" doesn't even exist anymore), but as far as the USA is concerned, the 1% (like the Koch Brothers) rule the country. Or hell have a corporation work with the government in making this a thing.
So the people live in abject poverty. Starvation, crime of all sorts... that's just a way of life. Everyone has a "hustle." The local doctor sells drugs. The police hire themselves out as paid thugs. Maybe even orphanages peddle children to people with certain "tastes." Really horrific stuff. However, through the coarse of telling this story (should people agree to it) it's important to make our characters not react the way we would. They've grown up with this being the normal. It should seem normal. Sure they could think it's wrong, unjust. But not shocked like we would be plopped into this world.
And now the Games... or as I like to call it: "The Hunt."
The rules for the Hunt is simple: Survive the Hunt.
So it works like this. A number of children, I'd say ages 14 - 20 (because let's face it it'd be more entertaining to see people that could defend themselves fight to the death as opposed to tiny children calling for their mothers) are told they must survive and travel from point A to point B. This could explain multiple winners in past years as we've had with HG. I would also like to have some years without winners. So these children must survive while being hunted down by either rich assholes who think this stuff is thoroughly awesome. Or other children trained for this sort of thing.
The winner or winners are awarded prize money that must be shared between the winners (which explains why usually people kill each other trying to be the only person that crosses the finish line).
Anyway that's my idea.

I think I can see the state of the world. The children can be so poorly educated that we can develop the 'how' along the way as a en media res or The Wish (Buffyverse) did.
I like the idea. I'm thinking perhaps each of us creates a character. We are so different that we will create either a complementary group or a contrast that will create conflict. I'll work on my character... if no one minds re - using a past HG victor, I want to re - make Grace.
