This is where we will be storing our District Families. As there are other threads as a 'Guide to Panem', this is the drawing board for an Official Families of Panem. I highly suggest creating a write up for your victors. Notable tribute families are welcome. Friends of families are also welcome! Please keep your family descriptions ( maximum 15 sentences) brief and mention the most memorable parts. If there is additional information, create a separate thread entitled [Family Name History, District #] in this Hunger Games board section (not Fanworks) with a link to it in your Family submission. This will keep the section from becoming bogged down with information and creating a tl; dr thread! Make the post here your final draft. Hopefullly before the #36th Games, I will create the Official Notable Families with a post for each District. Your contributions will be posted exactly as they were submitted here. To 'claim' a family, post in this thread. Keep this thread clear of clutter by ONLY posting family claims and official family submissions.
Anne claims Cypress', Rowans' and the Stone families
District Four
Notable Families
Wakefield - Warren and Sunshine Wakefield, children: Ela [age 16], Atlantic and Pearla (twins)[age 14], Cypress [age 11], Felix and Coraline (twins) [age 10]
The Wakefields are a quiet yet honorable family that has produced a religious family, dedicated to the Warrior priests of thier district. Sunshine Wakefield is the only surviving child of her parents, Royce and Breeze Atlantic. Sunshine was never told the full story, but it was strongly implied that the Atlantic had interfered with the punishment of a good family. Lan's death was the price for such rebellion and interference, for now does a five year old son of fishermen drown? Sunshine and her husband, Warren, are devoted to Summer's husband, Seth, and thier son Seth II and thier daughter Lorna. The Wakefield's continue the Atlantic tradition of naming children for lost family members and victors, as Lorna was named for Lorne, the 12th Hunger Games victor.
Sunshine has been blessed with delivering a daughter, Ela and twins Atlantic and Pearla, followed by Cypress, Felix and Coraline. Ela is named for the district 7 victor's, Apple's, victim in the 17th Hunger Games. Atlantic was named for Sunshine's departed family and Pearla for District 4's first victor. The third Wakefield daughter bears the name Cypress. Some may whisper from the departure of honoring District Four tributes - and for naming her for a deceased tribute. Sunshine spoke of her choice only once, stating that her daughter had a peaceful spirit and she felt that Cypress had been a good girl, regardless of being a daughter of district seven. When asked about Felix, the parents feign surprise that any one would wonder why this is not a good, solid name. Felix and Coraline are the second sets of twins borne of the Wakefields. Ela is a responsible girl devoted to family - she will volunteer for her cousin, Lorna, in the #36th Hunger Games.
