"We're serious." Lacey stated emphatically. "We're attacking tonight at twilight. Take this back to your group and meet us here before sun down. If we are successful, we'll divide the loot and split up. We aren't looking for any thing long term here. Your thoughts?"

"Tonight at twilight it is." Lily smiled amicably. Alright, that lack of long term commitment was disappointing, but if it removed the Careers from the Arena, so be it.
The meeting was almost going too well... Lacey had asked nothing about the size of their group, numbers, members... the trio were making the offer in blind faith that Lily and co would turn up. The trust was admirable, if somewhat stupid given the situation. Lily however voiced none of this outside the confines of her own head.
"Coral and I just need to finish our foraging and then we'll leave the area to your watchful eyes until we return with the others at Twilight Fall."

Lacey nodded her head. "Go ahead and forage. We'll just continue to observe this area. The careers made a sweep at dawn along the river, so keep an eye up river."
Lacey continued to observe Lily and Coral as they worked, while Bailey slipped off down river. You saw the form of a larger boy - Cotton most likely - conversing with her. The two crouched next to the river, filling their skins. You note Bailey is chewing on a red colored fruit, apparently enjoying it. This suggested some fruit was likely in the vicinity...
Coral approached the waters edge, unzipping her pack. She handed Lily one of the jars and pulled out one for herself. She crouched next to the river and glanced over her shoulder. Lacey remained in her tree ten feet away, keeping a watchful eye over the two of you. Coral leaned down and filled the jar, whispering.
"Think the others would come here?"

Boomer had already salvaged some fruit back at the Factory, so Lily wasn't too bothered by Bailey's discovery. It would be safer to look for it later once the Careers were dead.
Filling her own jar from the lake and keeping an eye on upstream, Lily whispered back to Coral.
"Certainly worth a discussion later. We should do this and head back for now... don't want the others panicking."

Lily and Coral filled their 3 10 oz. jars under Lacey's watchful gaze and departed. They noted that Bailey and Cotton had joined Lacey at her tree as they moved away, looking after them and speaking quietly. The chattering monkeys had returned, following Lily and Coral's movements away from the city. The monkeys had taken to throwing small, hard seeds at the two girls as they departed the city, chattering angrily. The two girls left the trees and approached the factory...

As the tributes enter the Hidden City, the heat that was present earlier has turned into a damp chill. The small hairs on the back of your neck bristle and gooseflesh prickles down your arms. Moist vegetation is underfoot, slippery green moss is clinging to the broken stone that dot your path. Sassinak remains beside Felix, who is moving very slowly through the uneven ground. Sassinak has affixed her bow terminal and holds her bow at the ready, an arrow already gripped in her finger. Coral had been walking on Felix's other side, but as they near the river, she moves into the lead.
"Lacey?" She whispers, cautioning with a hand for the others to remain quiet. It was Bailey, the slim girl from district three who stepped out from behind the curved palm tree. Bailey looked surprised to see such a large group.
"Hello." Bailey greets quietly. "Cotton's off watching the careers now. Are you all coming with us?"

Lily rubbed futilely at a chilled arm with her spare hand, the first one holding a knife partly in readiness and partly to counter the sense of foreboding creeping over her. At one point she nearly went over on a patch of slippery moss, resulting in a muttered profanity under her breath. She hadn't braved a foot chase, acid rain and an attack by Careers to break her neck in some homegrown Jungle... She noted the look of surprise on Bailey's face. Hopefully their large numbers would make Lacey's trio think twice about crossing them at any point during the attack. She at least returned the girl's greeting. It didn't hurt to be polite for now, no matter how she was feeling at the moment. Lily Zelle rolled 4 dice to "Perception" 3,8,9,6 (2 successes)

As Lily glanced around, she noted that Lacey stood an arm's reach from Lily, watching the group warily. Lacey had coated her face and arms with mud and tied green vines over her back pack. She wore a backpack that looked very light, a water skin on her hip and the staff in her hand. This staff was different than the one at the Blood bath - this one looked to be of better quality. Noting Lily's glance, she gave the girl a wordless nod.
Cotton - the big boy from district 8 - suddenly appeared from behind a tree. He took in the newcomers in a glance, glancing towards Lacey.
"Something's different." He shared. "I was listening from my standard spot when things got really quiet. I waited awhile and moved in. I'm very certain that no one heard me. When I looked into their camp, Glory and Victoria were gone. Brass was sitting under the tree on the sleeping bag as always, talking to Eclypse. Eclypse was working on a spear - rather badly. I noted some dirt has been unearthed... but the girls aren't visible. They didn't pass me. Either they made a sweep east into the Jungle or they're hiding..."
Lacey made a snort.
"They never hid on you before, right?" "No." "So either they're patrolling or they are changing tactics for some reason. We shouldn't go directly for Brass. I'm wondering if they haven't set traps." "The last times that I peeked at them, they were sharpening sticks." Cotton stated. "I don't want to walk into their camp." Lacey shifted. "Maybe we should let them see us and lead them this way." She looked towards the newcomers. "What do you think? Can any of you run fast?"

The crutches were proving to be very useful, Felix realised. Although it was difficult to stay balanced on the rough terrain with them, especially with his bag that held his axe, baseball bat and camouflage kit, his new quiver and a bow on his back, along with the shiny new chest plate, Felix was extremely grateful to not require the assistance of others. He worried that the axe would split his bag, as he placed it in blade-first to avoid killing anyone by accident, he was starting to think that it would be his last chance to do damage.
Felix might be down, but he’s not out just yet.
He shivered in cold, and used his helmet to inspect the area. As Bailey greeted them, Felix let out a breath before saying a firm, but almost friendly, “Hello.”
This was proving to be a very strange Games.
“Could they know that we’re coming?” He asked when Cotton shared his sightings with them. He almost laughed when Lacey asked if they could run fast, “Looking like this? No, Brass made sure that next time they got me I wouldn’t be getting away.” He said bitterly, and had his eyes not been covered by a blindfold and the seeing visor, they would have been alight with hatred.
If he was going down tonight, so was the Beast that had taken his eyes.
He turned to Sassinak. “The camouflage kit. Get it out of my bag and we’ll work on making ourselves less visible, He turned to the rest of the large group, “And I mean all of us.” They would have to make do with the kit and what they had around them to stay invisible.
“They’ll be suspicious if they see one of mine or Jan, Ember and Isolde with you.” He said to Lacey, “They know we’ve been working together.” He said slowly.

Jan Colton; District 9's Volunteer: The Boy Who Would Watch the World Burn
This didn't feel right.
Not at all.
One would think that if this were on the up and up, there'd have been a message from Lyme in one of those parachutes. Everyone else seemed to get one from their mentors, and he'd gotten one before. It couldn't be too hard for her to send something telling him 'this was fine'.
There's a sidelong look to Ember--covered in dried mud as he was. This just didn't feel right to him. It felt.... ...Convenient.
"Don't look at me. Jace was the quick and nimble one. I'm the pretty one, and I don't relish the notion of dragging my a** all the way out here to play bait. Just not happening."
Not that he thought Isolde and Ember would let him do that. Their pack moved as one, of they didn't move at all.
The moment this started smelling rotten, he was getting his girls out of there. Point blank.

Lacey shrugged at Jan's response, looking towards Cotton. The boy seemed to guess her mind, responding. "You shouldn't go alone. I thought you wanted their help." He glanced towards Jan and Felix. "Give us a minute." Coral asked softly, non aggressive. "You've been here for two days. We've only just arrived. You say they're do the north? All of the careers?" "All of them." Cotton replied. "Brass holds court under a big tree in the clearing. They still talk to him and ask his advice. He seems to have a strong pull with them. Glory and Victoria had an argument the first night and he settled it in a word. Eclypse seems to be his eyes, doing whatever Brass asks of him. Making a fire, cooking the meals; that sort of stuff. The girls are what worry me. Victoria goes on perimeter patrols regularly, which is why I hang back to where I can hear and not see them. I do a visual three times a day; just to make sure an incredible sponsor gift hasn't arrived." "I'll do the visual." Lacey responds, cutting off Cotton's objection. "Yes, I know that they'll see me, Cotton." She looks to the others. "This river runs north, towards the big Tower. Its banks are muddy and Glory was checking tracks earlier, so avoid it if you can't cover your tracks. These trees are thick here and strong. We've been climbing them easily. I can wait if you need time to set up where you want to be when the careers come calling." Sassinak remains quiet, pulling out the camouflage kit from Felix's bag. She sets it before him and uses it alongside him, camouflaging the back of his neck. She rises and gathers moss and vines, bringing them to Felix for the two to use in their camouflage applications. "Who else wants this?" She asks. She glances towards Jan and Ember, before looking towards Lily. "Lily, you're small. Looking like a tree could help you get in closer." Sassinak rolled 7 dice to "Camouflaging self" 9,2,9,6,3,4,9 (3 successes)

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember read Jan clearly. She didn't like it either. But they'd rain down death on Cotton, Bailey, and Lacey at the slightest provocation. "That's one," Ember said, flatly when Cotton spoke. She didn't like his tone. Not one bit. "I'll take some, Butterfly," Ember told Felix's district partner. "I think that Sweetpea and I should climb some trees and set up archer posts." She pointed to an ideal spot. "Here..." She pointed to another ideal spot. "... and here." "Butterfly, you think you can give me a hand with this?" She said when she was given the kit. As they worked, Ember listened to Lacey. She nodded. The girl had her respect. "Lure them back here. We'll work on the rest." Ember climbed her tree and waited. Lily debated the idea and submitted herself to Sassinak for camouflaging.
"I think I'll stay on the ground during the fight... I do fairly well with knives in close combat. Fairly sure I can target a few legs and immobilize some of them from running away."

Sassinak nodded and beckoned for Ember to sit down in front of her. "Thats a good idea, to hide in the trees." She shared her thoughts as she painted Ember's face in greys and greens. Once she was streaking Ember's neck, she leaned in and evaluated her work. Shr rose and grabbed a low branch from a nearby tree, stripping it of its leaves. Sassinak returned with her leaves, weaving three of them into Ember's hair. The fourth she crumpled and pressed the leaf bits against the skin of Ember's cheek and neck, creating more texture. The final leaf she tucked into the front of Ember's shirt, breaking up some of her profile. This took longer as Sassinak was not pleased with her first minutes work. "I think you look all right for the trees. Thoughts?" She looked to Isolde, who has taken a seat next to Ember. "She looks fine," Isolde determined after a minutes consideration. "-the leaves are a good touch."She holds out her hands, showing that she has brought several leaves of her own. Sassinak moved to work on Isolde, using the leaves in much the same way. She pauses and evaluates her work, critical of her hand. "It looks all right." Coral says from behind Sassinak. "You're too critical of yourself." 2013-01-30 02:40:11 Sassinak rolled 7 dice to "Camouflaging Isolde" 1,2,7,8,5,8,6 (2 successes) Link 2013-01-30 02:39:52 Sassinak rolled 7 dice to "Camouflaging Ember " 6,9,3,9,2,8,2 (3 successes) Link 2013-01-30 02:39:35 Sassinak rolled 7 dice to "Camouflaging Ember " 3,6,5,4,7,4,1 (0 successes)
Lacey remains quiet, watching the group. Bailey moves up beside her and speaks quietly, a question. "I'd really like to come with you, Lacey. Can't I?""No, dear." Lacey gives Bailey's hair a sisterly caress. "You stay here with the others. Mend any who need mending. And at the point, you 'warm hearth'." She exchanges a look with Cotton. "You stay too. Be careful. I'll be back in a minute with hell on my heels."Lacey straightens and removes her pack, handing it to Bailey. Cotton takes a stand next to the tree Lacey stands beside. He wields her first staff. Those with a keen eye note that a knife has been tied to the end of the staff. Sassinak moves beside Felix, farther back from the front. While Felix sits behind a tree and sets out his axe and bow before them, she takes a position behind a tree five feet to his left. She has affixed her bow terminal and holds her bow at the ready. Coral places herself near the front, crouching beside a rock beside the river. The small girl is mostly hidden behind it. She draws out her chakram and waits, looking tense. Lacey waits until the archers have climbed into thier positions. She takes a look at where the people are standing, deciding who she is running towards. "I'm going," She announces, stretching her legs. "- beware."The girl takes hold of her staff and departs the trap set, running full tilt towards the career camp. The run takes her barely three minutes. She pauses at the outskirts, catching her breath. "A girl has arrived." Eclypse states to Brass. "Lacey." Victoria and Glory stir, Glory drawing her knife. Lacey turns as soon as she catches the glint of the metal, racing back the way that she had come. Eclypse remains beside Brass, standing and drawing his sword. He is careful not to move forward, keeping in step beside Brass. The two girls chase after Lacey. Glory whoops cheerfully, a noise that proceeds them to Bailey, Coral, Cotton, Felix, Ember, Isolde, Jan, Lily and Sassinak. The two careers burst out, immediately on her heels. Glory glances at the assembled tributes and immediately hurls herself forward. She uses her extensive training in brawling to throw Jan to the ground, crouching defensively over him. She looked prepared to deliver a blow in the next moment. Victoria launches herself at the small twelve year old, knocking the girl in the skull with a powerful blow. The next punch caught the girl solidly in the chest. 2013-01-30 03:13:05 Victoria rolled 9 dice to "Brawling Lily #1 Second with -1" 5,1,3,2,8,2,3,8,1 (2 successes) Link 2013-01-30 03:12:37 Victoria rolled 10 dice to "Brawling Lily #1" 9,2,8,8,2,9,7,10,3,4,8 (6 successes)

Lily watched Sassinak get to work on Ember first and then Isolde, her silent submission apparently having been mistaken for a dismissal of the idea Sassinak had suggested only moments ago. Before Lily could correct the assumption, Lacey had already dashed off in the direction of the Careers, setting the plan into motion. So much for preparations... Lily thought, tightening her grip on the precious knife in her right hand. A tense moment passed before there was a loud cheerful whoop. Careers were coming... No sooner had Lacey burst back into the clearing than the fight was on, a female throwing herself on Jan immediately. Before Lily could act, another Career had smashed a fist into Lily's skull, causing stars to explode in the young girl's eyes. The blow brought back unwanted memories of siblings and vicious arguments... Another even more brutal blow caught Lily in the chest, something snapping under the impact - a rib probably. It wasn't the only thing that snapped. Sweet little Lily Zelle, at least that's how she'd presented herself so far, but the girl had a temper. Growing up with several brothers and a deep hatred for how they treated her had taught Lily one lesson and well. When someone hits you, you hit back. Several years of pent-up anger, torment and frustration flared up within Lily as she fixed her attacker with a wild baleful gaze and instinctively lashed out in response, still holding the knife in her hand. Lily Zelle rolled 17 dice to "Attacking Victoria" 7,10,6,2,10,5,5,3,4,9,4 (3 suxx) 9,3,6,10,4,5,1,1,1 (5 successes) (2 suxx)

Jan Colton; District 9 Volunteer: The Boy Who Would Watch The World Burn Normally, a pretty girl on top of him would be cause for smiling. Jan wasn't the most...respectful boy back in District 9, and he could see pretty when he saw Glory. Different from all the girls he'd ever been with, that was for sure... ...But. This wasn't going to be good time, and only one of them was coming out of it alive. As such... She was over him, and he stabbed up and at her throat. Yes, she had a bevor, but she was close enough and distracted enough, and frankly he was ball-sy enough to go for it. There were knicks in this armor and he was damned sight not going to die like this. Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember drew her bow string to her cheek and her sights settled on Glory. Because no one hurts what's her's. But the blow that Jan delivered made Ember rethink her targets. She shifted to Victoria. The two hits that she gave to Lily was enough to seal her fate. Even as the Lil' Bit took Victoria's sight from her, Ember knew that Victoria was the one she'd fire at. Ember lined up her shot and fired, aiming for the girl's exposed neck. She didn't even wait until the arrow landed before she slid down the tree with the bow on her back. Ember planted her two feet on the ground and pulled out her knives. In her left hand was her new shiny knife, in her right was the not-as-shiny knife. Felix Grayling: District Seven Male Tribute, The Boy Who TriedFelix didn’t have time to think, it all happened so quickly. He could hear Glory throw herself into Jan, knocking them both to the ground. That girl, he reminded himself, had some serious issues. She deserved what was coming to her, he decided, because of her brash actions. That was one thing that made Felix think he’d lost himself. Victoria’s blows to Lily made Felix breath out, hard and worried. The twelve-year-old managed to hold her own, and when his earpiece told him that the knife had sliced Victoria’s eyes, Felix was suddenly haunted of his final sighting. The flash of metal. He almost whimpered, almost. But Victoria deserved it too, she deserved it for making Lily hurt. That was another. And finally, Felix realised that none of this mattered to him anymore. He searched the battleground for Brass, the beast who’s life he was going to take, or who would take his life. That thought made Felix realise; he’d become a product of the Games. As Felix took his bow in one hand, his axe in the other, so as to be prepared for anything, he left all of his care and compassion for the world. His priority was locating Brass, and killing him slowly. Killing him when he was alone and defenceless, because that brute didn’t deserve an honourable death. He wanted Panem to feel Felix’s pain as they watched Brass die. Felix left behind a large part of him behind in that instance. “Make sure Victoria falls.” He breathed, just loud enough for Sassinak to hear. His voice dripped with malice and spite, poisonous hatred. “I will find Brass.”He used his helmet to scan the area. Felix Grayling rolled 5 dice to "Finding Brass" 3,8,3,10,2,6(2successes)

Hot blood surged down onto Jan, pumping freely as it gushed around his blade. This was a good cut, he could feel it. Deep and true, straight into the throat. This sick gasping was Glory's last moment. Her eyes were searching downward, finding Jan. That glorious blade slashed out, catching Jan's wrist in a shallow cut. The girl's grip on the blade faltered as she teetered to the side, collapsing onto the forrest floor.
Round 2 Glory rolled 8 dice to "Stabbing Jan Attack #1" 2,2,1,9,2,8,7,4 (2 successes)
Victoria made a startled shriek as Lily's knives slid deep. She flailed out at Lily, but missed the girl entirely. The strong girl turned, stumbling away from the fight. As she turned, an arrow was visible in her throat. The blood was flowing well, indicating that the arrow was deep. She was leading the way back towards her own camp. She had quit the fight entirely.
As Felix glanced around the battle field, he noted that there was no sign of Brass or Eclypse. These two young men were elsewhere for this fight. Perhaps at the camp that Lacey had mentioned; the camp that Cotton had been spying on. Sassinak nodded towards Felix, drawing her bowstring back. Her arrow flew forward, sinking into Victoria's shoulder. This seemed to quicken the girl's movements.
Lacey held her staff by her side as she pursued her. She did not attack Victoria for a moment until she was certain in the direction that Victoria was moving in. Her staff darted out, connecting solidly with Victoria's head. The girl had no clue where the attack had come from and only stumbled forward. Victoria pitched forward and collapsed onto the city floor. The blood flowing was now much darker. This was likely life blood. Victoria would be expiring in moments.
Lacey rolled 9 dice to "Temple Strike (••)" 8,6,9,3,7,3,7,4,7 (2 successes) @ Victoria

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember had been ready for a fight. A war. This... was just too easy. It meant that there was a trap in the works. Someone had told them their were sharpening sticks. A trap. Silly Careers. Didn't they know that you couldn't be from district 1 and 2 and be crafty fellow. True cunning came from the poorer districts, the ones where tributes had to be resourceful just to get a meal. As Victoria turned tail, Ember could see the trap being laid out before them. She hung back but gave chase until Lacey hit her in the head. Victoria was down. The fight was over. Ember walked back to the group. As she passed Lily she put her hand on the girl's shoulder, nodding toward Victoria she spoke. "Finish it, then we'll have our fun."She made a beeline, quick and quietly toward Jan. "You okay?" She glanced at Glory. "Still breathing..."If Jan said yes, Ember would take everyone that hadn't be injured forward. They ended to finish this. Lily gave a vicious grin that the now sightless Career would never see as her knives did to Victoria what had been done to Felix by Brass. The innocent image of the sweet little twelve year old girl shattered as the Career shrieked in agony, her wild flailing forcing Lily to take a step back.
An instant later, a wet sound signaled the appearance of an arrow in Victoria's throat, joined by another in her shoulder as the Career tried to flee from her would-be killers. It would never happen. Lacey saw to that.
Her heart racing, Lily looked around for more assailants but Glory seemed to be in just as bad a state as Victoria was.
"This is it? Pathetic..." Lily summed up her opinion of the Careers with one word. It hadn't been a proper fight, it had been a one-sided slaughter. The pounding in her head from the impact with Victoria's fist was starting to make its presence felt now. And then Ember spoke to her, an offer most tempting. Lily took it.
Drawing her second knife, it took but a moment to stride over to the unconscious Victoria, lying on her back in the dirt, blood pooling around her head. Lily held both blades against the girl's throat, and hesitated. She was about to end a life... really end it. Was she capable of something like...
Two fresh trails of blood trickled down to add to the puddle on the floor, Lily wiping her knives clean on the former Career's clothes.
"Done. What now?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." Jan picked himself up off the ground, rolling Glory's body over next to him and standing up. The knife was pulled out of her throat, and the sword in her hand was kicked out of her reach.
"Knocked the wind out of me. Cut my wrist." He held his wrist up, and it was a shallow cut, but he was still bleeding a bit. "I'll wrap it later."
There was a long look at Glory before he frowned. She really hadn't been all that bad. A little narcissistic. A little stupid. Otherwise, she was...just a girl. A pretty girl someone turned into a killer.
Just like the rest of them were.
That look on Lily's face, though, told Jan all he needed to know. Sammy's age, and an utter predator. Sammy had a fire in him, but he had never been like Lily.
The tip of Jan's knife was pressed under Glory's chin, and then he pushed up into the soft tissue. It was a sickening feeling, cartilage and tissue parting and being destroyed, and her eyes went a little wide before death took her.
She might have been a Career, but...she'd just been a little stupid, so far as he could tell.
He looked to where Isolde was, and then nodded to the rest of his 'Pack'.
"Let's go do this."

BOOM! Lily's knives were barely cleaned before the leaves in the trees shook from the cannon blast that boomed over the Ruined city. Victoria stilled and her eye sockets stared sightlessly upwards, red, matter oozing down her cheeks. It was Lacey who stooped and ran a hand down the dead career's shoulder. "No pack." She straightened. "She has armor, a skin and a sword. " She seems to think something of this and strides forward, staff in hand. Cotton is a step behind her. You can't see Bailey any where. BOOM! Glory exhales her last with out a whimper; heralded into the hereafter to follow in her aunt and great uncle's foot steps. Perhaps this was the glory she was seeking. Perhaps she leaves behind vengeance in her younger sister's heart, a girl who might also claim that its her destiny to make it farther than her ancestors. That's a possibility to be sown in years to come. Lacey walked steadily forward, knowing exactly where she was going. Her alliance had shared this city with the Careers for two days now; and she was at peace with ending it one way or another. Unless one followed them, the two became smaller and smaller; fading into the distance. Career CampLacey strode forward, pausing on a rock rubble hill as the trees became more sparse. "This is where Victoria would move," Cotton whispered, indicating a trail with his staff. Lacey nodded and followed his lead, stepping into the rubble strewn clearing. Four or five tribute - height boulders were spread out here, with three palm trees between them. This created at least three blind spots and Lacey proceeded with her staff at the ready; Cotton at her back. "Brass is gone." Cotton whispered, indicating a big palm tree. Lacey rolled 6 dice to "Wits + composure 1" 1,9,8,3,2,9 (3 successes) Cotton rolled 6 dice to "Wits + composure 1" 4,3,6,1,9,5 (1 successes)
Lacey rolled 6 dice to "Perception" 8,1,9,8,8,9 (5 successes) Cotton rolled 6 dice to "Perception" 2,9,10,1,6,10,7,5 (3 successes)
Lacey gripped Cotton's arm and soundlessly pointed. There was a pack sitting behind a lone rock three feet from them. A second pack was sitting underneath a tree shaded with vines. She made a grabbing motion to Cotton, indicating the pack by the rock. Cotton moved forward, donning the pack and crouching behind the rock. Lacey doesn't mention the opened parachute resting beside the rock, the odd instruction booklet for programming some sort of device to recognize tributes. She's spotted a place to avoid; and some place that she wants to be. Lacey rolled 14 dice to "Temple Strike (••) [16 - 2]" 3,8,7,8,7,7,1,5,3,9,3,4,7,9 (4 successes) Eclypse rolled 8 dice to "Knife" 8,6,3,4,5,5,3,6 (1 successes)
Her staff cracks into the back of Eclypse's head. The boy comes out with a knife and scores a small gash to Lacey's forehead. Lacey wheels her staff around when she catches an unusual sight - a boy wearing a device that looked very foreign. Its Brass, wearing an unusual helmet on his head and holding a giant sword. More unsettling, he's staring directly at her. He turns his head, evaluating the path that she had taken in. "One." He says to Eclypse; who immediately moves to stand on Brass' right; behind the big palm tree. Lacey crouches defensively; staff at the ready. Cotton hides behind his large boulder; glancing nervously behind him. PC Notes - If you choose to enter the camp, you must make two Wits + Composure rolls on round one. One is perception; one is something else.
If you gain one success, you see the remaining pack underneath the vine shaded tree & Lacey's position If you gain two successes, you see the pack & Lacey & Cotton's position If you gain three successes, you see the pack & Lacey & Eclypse & Cotton's position four or more, check your PMS
- The second roll is another roll to represent your character's quick reflexes. 1 suxx means something dangerous. Two + more means you passed.
- There will be one more wits + composure on round 2 or when you near Brass' position

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember watched Lily work with in slight awe of the girl. Had Ember had been thrown in the Games like she was supposed to have been, she'd have been Lily. Small, seemingly delicate but a killer, through and through. Ember had had it in her to become one of the youngest Victors. However, Cinder had thrown a wrench in her plans. Next to Jan, Ember examined his wrist. It wasn't that she didn't believe him. If Jan said it wasn't that bad, it probably wasn't. She just needed to see for herself. She needed to know herself that he'd be alright. Why? Wasn't that obvious? Jan was hers. More than Isolde. More than anybody else had ever been. Jan was hers. "I'll wrap it up later." Ember told him. And when Lily spoke, she nodded. "What's next?" Ember said to her people. "What's next is that we finish this. Go in quickly and quietly." Ember moved in behind Lacey and Cotton. She was fast and quiet. Watching her step. When she got to the line of the camp, Ember stopped and saw Lacey, Cotton, and the pack. She waited. Because something was about to happen. Ember Clay rolled 7 dice to "stealth" 3,10,8,9,7,7,4,8 (4 successes) Ember Clay rolled 8 dice to "Perception 1" 5,8,1,5,3,2,8,1 (2 successes) Ember Clay rolled 8 dice to "Perception 2" 9,9,7,8,9,4,8,3 (5 successes) Armor: Clothes: Weapons: Gear: Hit Points: 20/ 21Willpower:3/ 6

Jan Colton; District 9's Volunteer: The Boy Who Would Watch the World Burn "Sounds like a date." He grinned. Covered in mud and other people's blood, Jan Colton was grinning and flirting. For all he knew, the Capitol loved it. They had certainly sent him enough presents. Hopefully, they'd both be alive after this. Right now, his Pa would be waking his Ma up. So they could watch this. Max would be riveted to the screen, and Ma would be quieting everyone so they didn't wake Sammy. So that Sammy didn't have to watch. Sammy should watch this. He should know. For whatever reason, Sammy should know. He was tougher than anyone ever gave him credit for. 'Katie, our son just killed one of the Careers, and is about to ambush the other two. We may want to watch this.'He wondered how District 9 was taking this. How all those pretty girls he'd spent time with were justifying the things he was doing. Even Jace had looked slightly sick with every life that expired in front of him. Jan? For Jan, their deaths just put him one step closer to being Victor. The only people he would feel bad about... ...Ember. Izzy. Maybe Lily. He stuck to Ember as they moved, and made damned-sight sure he didn't make a noise. Him stepping on a branch could mean certain death, and that was more than enough incentive to be extra careful and follow slowly in Ember's wake. He wanted to ask what was happening. Why they'd stopped, but it was time to shut his mouth and not talk. Time to observe. To figure things out. 2013-01-31 14:43:41 Jan Colton rolled 5 dice to "Perception 1" 6,3,4,10,4,9 (2 successes) 2013-01-31 14:44:19 Jan Colton rolled 5 dice to "Perception 2" 1,7,10,4,6,2 (1 successes) 2013-01-31 14:44:55 Jan Colton rolled 7 dice to "Stealth" 2,10,8,10,3,10,3,6,4,8 (5 successes)
