Rules
Please open the spoiler tabs for more indepth rules, spoilers were used to keep the monster readable.
1. Posting Order: No one wants to come home from work and find that thier tribute has been stabbed in the face 26 times.
A. Any one who has not posted in within 72 hours of Cornucopia going live will be killed by thier land mine.
B. Please wait for at least three people to post after you before you post again.
C. Please do not get more than two posts ahead of the slowest person in the scene.
For example:
Luci posts in first
Rory posts
Tank posts
Jace posts
Luci can now post again, and does so
Femra posts
Kale posts
Rory posts
Luci posts
Tank posts
Femra posts
Jace posts
- Luci sees that Lallek, the district 4 tribute has not posted. She should wait for him to post before she posts again. This courtesy rule is for 48 hours from the time Cornucopia goes live (or the thread starts). Posting too often before the 48 hour rule will result in your post being deleted (and the contents PMed to you to be saved for when you can post). On the third reminder, -10 hp will be deducted from your tribute.
2. Attacking.
3. Post Quality
Please try and post a paragraph containing at least five sentences each post. 1. React to the posts before yours - acknowledge wounds to yourself or attacks to your alliance. 2. Interact with those who have interacted with your character 3. Acknowledge the presence or replies of those around your character 4. Post the action that your character takes clearly and descriptively. 5. Feel free to embellish with how your character feels or thinks of the situation. Always make sure you are contributing to the roleplay and give others something to react to in your post.
4. Fleeing: In order to flee from a thread, you must first post that you are fleeing. Then wait for three posts after yours. If no one posts attacking or intercepting you, make a final 'leaving' post declaring where you are going. After that, you are free to go to that location.
You can (and should!) immediately post to the thread of the area that you are fleeing to. The cornucopia will have links to all of the open threads such as Frozen Tundra, the Forest and so on for your convenience.
5. Healing and damage:
Damage:We are using WOD rules for damage of your character. After rolling for an attack and earning successes, your character has dealt that much damage to the other character.
Healing
There are 2 ways to heal
1. Use a medical kit + medicine roll to yourself or others. You can try a survival roll to find medicinal items/plants in the arena without needing a medical kit.
2. Half of your damage heals every night when the anthem plays
6. Keep track of your inventory. Cornucopia special: You can grab one item in order from your character's tribute list with each post that you make to Cornucopia. You can attack & grab an item in the same turn. If for some reason we go through all of the items in your tribute list and there is still fight, I will add more things.
If you add, use or change an item in your list, please post to the ooc and I will update your character's inventory. This includes filling water jugs or catching a rabbit. Your tribute's belt can hold up to three things on each side. For example, Cypress had a belt pouch, her sword, and her water jug on her belt. When she fell into the ocean, she automatically still had these things on her belt.
7. Food & Water goodies: If your character goes three days without water, you'll have to roll on the third day to fight through delirium in order to find water. If your character endures 3 full days without water, your character will die.
Food ~ Your character can endure 5-7 days with out food. On the 4th day, you find yourself dealing with modifiers for moving, distraction and so on. On the seventh day without food, your character will die.

For example, if the Frozen Tundra has a snow storm and your character has no winter coat, no fire or no constructed shelter, your character automatically suffers -10 hit points of damage.

You can also hunt animals using your tribute's weapons or by constructing new weapons. Each animal has a set HP and once you reach its hp through damage, the animal dies and an be butchered and eaten.
For example, Pearl spots a small deer. She shoots it with arrows three times to kill it and then butchers and packs up some of its' meat.

2. Attacking.
A. If someone has not posted into the cornucopia, they are not to be attacked. Talk to them, interact, but no attacking.
B. Post to the ooc to ask someone (or me, the ST) thier defense before attacking them. It is ok to post your defense to the ooc before cornucopia goes live.
C. No one is to be attacked more than four times between thier posts.
For example:
Luci posts
Femra attacks Luci
Rory attacks Luci
Tank attacks Luci
Jace attacks Luci
- As Luci has not posted in since the four attacks, she can not be attacked again.

Sorrel, District 11 female, decides to flee Cornucopia. She posts: This was all getting to be too much. I am sickened by the violence of the career tribute as I stare at the dying body of a boy. I can't help him. I have to get out of here myself. I clutch my knife in my hand and prepare to run to the frozen tundra.
- Lallek posts (not intercepting or attacking Sorrel)
- Rory posts (not intercepting or attacking Sorrel)
- Jace posts (not intercepting or attacking Sorrel)

You can (and should!) immediately post to the thread of the area that you are fleeing to. The cornucopia will have links to all of the open threads such as Frozen Tundra, the Forest and so on for your convenience.

You can attack & grab an item in the same turn. If for some reason we go through all of the items in your tribute list and there is still fight, I will add more things.
If you add, use or change an item in your list, please post to the ooc and I will update your character's inventory. This includes filling water jugs or catching a rabbit.
