Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” “Broody, you didn't see what Bogey did...” she glanced at Coral for a moment. Her eyes were sparkling with humor, they simply darkened with cool understanding. “The big brother type... Mermaid's district mate... Kingston... Bogey didn't kill him. I would have respected him more if had. But no, Brass told him to jump and Bogey hopped-to. Bringin' the King, kicking, screaming... pleading... And he didn't care. He just made him kneel before the Champ and watched as he sliced off his head.” Again she looked at Coral. “He died alone and afraid. And now his head is bouncing around on the Champ's belt. And that all thanks to Bogey.
“I could kill each of you and prolly won't lose any sleep over it. But even I won't do did what Bogey did. Even we wouldn't have followed an order like that. He did and without hesitation.” And for that his life is forfeit. They were scared. Ember didn't blame them. If she hadn't trained for this, she'd probably be just as scared. Or maybe 18 years in her mother's house just took the fear right out of her; she could just no longer fear for her life. She dead inside already. With Cinder gone there was no reason to hope for victor just like there was no reason to fear death. I died six years ago...She looked back out toward Bogey and then relaxed her bow. “45 yards sounds about right,” Ember said, she glanced at Jasper and threw him a smirk. Her district mate was on the same page as her and Jan. That was good. “It just means that you'll have to scream louder.” Ember raised the goggles from her eyes and turned around. “There's food in one of the duffel bags. Eat. If we survive the night, Grumpy and I will lay out snares in the morning and do some huntin'. For food, not for tributes.” She moved away from the window, tapping Jasper so that he could switch with her. She even tossed him a pair of night vision goggles. “We'll sleep, eat, and work in shifts,” Ember finally said. “But if you're not down with the plan, tell us now because we could cut our losses and book it. The Careers aren't out for our blood. They're out for Broody's.” She looked at Jan and smiled. Her eyes telling him that this is way she shouldn't be the spokesperson. Ember couldn't lie. Why should she when everyone was always saying that the truth will set you free? “Charming, can you handle this? And probably a good idea to have Mermaid tell us what the warning for the acid rain is.” Ember told Jan. Then she turned to face Lily. “A vine?” Ember asked, pulling out her machete. “Let's see how well this works, shall we?” Hit Points: 19/21 Willpower: 5/6

Those standing in the hall were now overtaken by darkness. There was the small, flickering candle in the security room that offered some light but made the shadows long. Lily's headlamp cut a bright path through the black. "I don't want you to feel like that." Sassinak sighed. "I just can't trust him. I trust you, Felix. The people who have helped us. But... he's big and he's strong and he scares me. " "He's not a teddy bear." Isolde noted darkly. At the mention of a spotter, Sassinak squeezed Felix's hand. "I'm not going anywhere. We can take turns sleeping. You may not see, but you can hear. We can rig up something on the stairs to indicate if a career or mutt is coming up.
"Scream louder. I think I can handle that. " At the mention of food, Sassinak brightened. "Thanks. I'll share something with Felix. You've helped us a great deal and I don't want to take too much."Sassinak made a move towards the duffel bag that Ember indicated, but paused as Lily announced a problem. "Plant growth?""Like... a flower?" Jasper frowned. "Whats the problem?""I don't think Lily would be worried about a flower.""Well, I'm not often concerned about a plant." Jasper sounded exasperated. "What is it, Lily?""There are not many plants that live in four. There's a lot of salt in the ground. Medical stuff? We need that. Especially if we're going to be in a fight. " Coral mused. She stepped away from the group, opening the medical door and peeking in. "I don't see anything. Who has the light? Lily?""There's a candle in the security room." Isolde offered. "We brought some lights in the duffel.." Isolde frowned as she looked at the inky blackness. "Lily, they were by the wall. I can't see them any more." Indeed, you could not even see those in the same room as you - except for Lily, who had a headlamp that blazed like the sun. No one could see Coral at the door of the Medical Room. All rolls now are at a -2, except for Lily and Ember. Finding the bags with the lights are a wits + inves to find for all but Lily and Ember. One suxx equals one bag, two suxx equals the right bag with the light.Ember has the night vision goggles too, which means she has to avoid looking towards Lily

As Ember watched, she noted that Victoria joined Bogart. After a brief conversation, he headed back to the horn; leaving Victoria on guard duty. Not ten minutes later, Victoria, Eclypse and Bogart headed into the Jungle.

Jan Colton; District 9's Volunteer: The Boy with the Capitol Good LooksIt had been a nice dinner, provided by the Capitol. District 9's Tributes and their families having one last feast before Jan and Isolde were both whisked off to their Stylists to be prettied up for the interviews with Caesar. The one's that were televised for all of Panem.
Jace had worn a dark blue suit to bring out the 'brightness' of his eyes, but Jan would be put in a black suit with a vest. The only 'tie' to his younger twin would be the dark-blue tie.
The Stylist was proud of the fact that the tie had been made of the same exact fabric as Jace's suit.
It would have been a pleasant dinner, if Kal hadn't been silently glowering across the table every ten seconds. Jan hadn't really cared. He and Kal hadn't gotten along since...
...Since Jace was Reaped.
They'd been walking down the hallway, and about to separate when he'd said something. Finally, he'd actually said something. It was nasty, and hateful, and ridiculously selfish. The statement that he wouldn't go along with the charade. That he wouldn't pretend to be in love Isolde.
Jan had stopped short. And then he'd grabbed his older brother by the lapels, and shoved him against the wall before anyone could react.
"Listen, you selfish piece of garbage." Jan could see the others out of the corner of his eye. Isolde's mother and aunt and brother. His own family, all of them wide-eyed and somewhat terrified, even if Josiah--who everyone expected to put a stop to this--was merely standing there watching. Jan's own Stylist--who had worked with Jace last year--and their District Representative who looked like she was going to have a heart-attack....
The only one who didn't look shocked was Lyme.
But Jan's eyes were all for Kal, who was looking at him in horror and more than a little fear. Jan was seething, even if his voice was cold. Frigid.
Kal looked afraid. He damned well had better be.
"You will do this."
Kal started to talk, but Jan pulled him forward and slammed him back again. "SHUT UP! I'm talking now, you useless piece of dung. SHUT. UP."
Kal swallowed. Kal shut up.
"You owe me. Not only did you not Volunteer in His place, you profited off of His pain. You watched him die, and you made money off of your baby brother's death. So you owe me. You will do this, or so help me..By The One and Jace's soul I swear it that if I win this? I will come back to District 9 just to destroy your life and everything you've built.
"Because as a Victor? I will have that power, and I hate you just that much." With that, Jan let go of his oldest brother's lapels. smoothing down his own jacket before he pointedly straightened Kal's tie. "Now...you will give the love of your life a kiss and wish her luck, and we're going to go make everyone in this place fall head-over-heels in love with us. And if you so much as blink the wrong way, I will somehow make good on my promise. "With or without a Victor's crown. Do I make myself abundantly clear?"[/blockquote] "Not asking you to go outside, Boomer. I'm asking you to stay in here and make a heck of a lot of noise. The only person who'd be going outside would be me. And Ember..." And then he hears the fact that there were parachutes on the porch. "Someone needs to go get those. Someone who's good at not being seen. As for Bogart? He's worthless. Sorry, Felix, but I saw what he did. I saw what he is. If the Games bring to the fore your 'true face', than Bogart is a piece of garbage. He dropped Kingston in front of Brass like a sacrifice to The One. There was no honor in it. It wasn't a clean death.
"Say what you want about me, but at least I'd have given him a clean death. He'd have died with a weapon in his hands and with a fighting chance.
"Not like that."

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember frowned when Boomer spoke. Had he not been listening? He just had to sit tight and scream his bloody head off. Her and Charming were taking the risk. With of course Jasper and Isolde high in a perch somewhere. “Yeah, so no running. In fact to really sell it they can’t see you until we’re about to kill them. Because you’re supposed to be dying… I’d prefer it that you’d be dead but in order to sell that there needs to be cannon blasts. Here’s a though: can you do that Boom-Boom? Can you rig something that makes the sound?” Ember stomach grumbled. She was getting hungry. She supposed they all were. She looked outside. Victoria, Bogart, and Eclyspe were gone. Perfect. “Our watchdogs are gone,” Ember reported. “So this is what’s happening next. Grumpy you take Sweetpea and get the gear. Stay out of sight. And Charmin’ I’m starvin’… We all need to eat. I’m gonna deal with the scary plant, but can you be a dear maybe have a little dinner ready when I get back?” She winked at him, her tone as sweet as Ember could manage which wasn’t much. She drank from her waterskin again and sloshed it around. It was about half-full. She’d need to drink all of it before she went to bed. “We should work out a watch rotation. There’s nine of us. 3 watches of 3 should do the trick. And yea, nine including you Broody. You’re down but you’re not out.” That was the last thing Ember said before she followed Lily out. She fought the urge to look at her and instead put her hand on the top of Lily’s head. “Eyes front, little bit,” she said in the mildly teasing tone. Annoying big sister. No malice in her voice. “This works better if I’m not blind.” Ember handed her one of her knives, hilt-first. “Also works better if you’re properly armed. And if you stab me with it… well I’ll be very upset… and sort of proud.”Ember reached the door and pulled out the silvered machete. “I’ll roll in first. Little bit will grab the gear. And if that thing attacks me… you help. Clear? Good.”Ember looked for the lab coat and zeroed in on it before she ran forward, staying as low to the ground as possible. She took a swipe at the vine cutting just below the lab coat. Ember Clay rolled 8 dice to "Dex+Ath" 8,6,9,4,6,1,2,6 (2 successes) Ember Clay rolled 8 dice to "attacking vine" 7,8,9,1,5,8,5,1 (3 successes) Ember Clay rolled 6 dice to "attacking vine" 3,10,9,8,8,6,10,3 (5 successes) [Factoring a def of two] Hit Points: 19/21 Willpower: 5/6

"Yes, Dear." Jan smiled just as sweetly back. For all he knew, the sponsors were loving their banter, and as such Jan had every intention of keeping it up. "Let's see...we've got candlelight, Lamb stew...oranges...we could do with some wine, but I doubt there's any in here."
He shifted his eyes to the side, and sighed dramatically. "So much for my plan to wine and dine..."
The plan for the cannon blasts though? That was ingenius, and he really hoped it was possible. Getting them inside because they thought that Team Idealist was dead?
"Anyone ever tell you that you have a truly evil mind, Sunshine? Ranks right up there with mine."

Lily let herself be turned as Ember put her hand on Lily's head. Any comment on the teasing big sister routine Ember tried went unsaid as Ember handed one of her own knives to Lily. Wow... she'd got hand-me-downs from her family before, but only when they'd had absolutely no more use for the things in question or been given no choice. For someone to give her something of their own free will... Lily zoned back in just as Ember pulled out a silvered machete and gave Lily her orders. "If you can't hurt it, we get out fast." Lily said quietly, following Ember in. She didn't understand... these Games were all about looking after yourself in order to win... so why was she now ashamed for not telling Ember what she knew from the research booklets earlier? Lily Zelle rolled 10 dice to "Dexterity + Athletics" 2,5,8,1,2,9,4,9,2,8 (4 successes)

An explosion? Yeah, he could do that... if he had the materials.
"Problem with that," he said as Ember walked away, "Is I don't have quite what I need to make an explosive right now... and it'd only work within proper earshot. If the careers, I assume they're who you wanna trick, ain't within earshot of whatever boom I make it'd be wasted. Though I do like the idea. Can I make... uh make a suggestion? We I do make it something suitable, we set it off right after the anthem. Will give us a full day with them possibly thinkin' there's been deaths, but no confirmations as to who or where."
If he had access to a broadcast system... that might get arena wide.

Felix listened as Ember and Jan explained what had happened to Kingston. It was gruesome, and they left little to nothing to the imagination. Felix’s sightless eyes saw the event, and he shook his head. “We should have got him out of there.” Felix stated guiltily. He shook his head again, and then he nodded. “I still wouldn’t kill him, but you’re set on it and I understand. Like you said, I didn’t see it. Eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” He laughed out loud at the irony of the statement before shrugging. “You have a sound plan, and killing Bogart’s part of that.”
As Lily mentioned the plant growth in the medicine room, Felix frowned in confusion. He smiled at the exchange between Coral and Jasper before he heard Coral leave the room. He heard Ember as she left, “Guess I can keep an ear out for danger.” He said with a smile before she exited the room.
“It’s very kind of you guys to do this. All of this. Give us food, weapons, medical supplies...” Felix said to no one in particular, “You have my deepest and sincerest gratitude.” He said before resting his head against the wall and closing his mutilated eyes. It was horrifying to be enveloped in darkness, and he hoped that his eyes would stop trying to send message to his brain. At least if he couldn’t see anything, including the darkness, it wouldn’t feel so dark.
“I wonder what the mentors sent.”

Coral's face paled as she heard Kingston's face. The other's could not see it in the pitch black darkness of the factory, but she shivered. The world had gotten smaller for her with the only other person from home dead. How he had died made her dread the careers. As Felix expressed his grattitude, she couldn't bring herself to speak. She reached out to squeeze his shoulder but could not find him in the darkness. Mute and blind in this darkness - and having more empathy for Felix for it - Coral waited in silence.
Sassinak stirred beside Felix.
"Probably something good." She stated to him. "We all need things. And I promised Coral the lions' share for helping us get away from the Careers."
Silence from Coral.
Sassinak shifted in the darkness, noting. "I wish there were lights. I hate this darkness."
She looked to the candle, small and flicking, noting how it made the shadows that much darker.
Within the Medicine room, Lily made a move for the surgical tray. She could select the tray with its tools and the bandages, but she didn't have enough hands for the syringes and the vials. She would have to store what was in her hands and make another grab for the gear.
As Ember attacked the vine, she felt the machete stick into something solid. It felt like flesh. As Lily's light cut a quick swath over the doctor, Ember could see her machete sticking into the creatures' abdomen. There had already been a cut there, represented by a thin, pale line like a healed scar. Oddly enough, this 'plant thing' looked human. Light colored skin, arms, a torso and a face that looked contorted in pain. Small leaves shook and rattled on the woman and as Ember watched, the leaves grew and bloomed over the cut that she had made. After a moment the leaves receeded, leaving a thin, red line - a mark that a trained doctor who had closed an incision would make. The creatures hand bruhed the oval diagnostic tool and an image came up on the diagnostic screen of the computer.
It was the form of a female if she were spread out flat on a table. There was a red line at the mid section and a pink line at the abdomen. There was an arrow pointing to the midsection and a small notation 'Vial 1 prevent antibiotics. Plant aa22 will heal flesh.'

Thinking on her feet, Lily dumped the gear she'd grabbed so far on the bed and quickly stripped one of the pillows on the bed of its case. In went the medical tools (barring the scalpel) and on top of that she dumped the cloth and the bandages. Turning back to the remaining syringes and vials, she headed towards them to add them to the contents of the hastily prepared "swag bag". Lily Zelle rolled 10 dice to "Dex + Ath" 9,9,6,9,2,10,6,1,1,1,8 (5 successes)

It didn't look like anyone was willing to risk going outside to drag in the parachutes, so Jan rolled his eyes, digging through the bag with their gear and pulling out another set of Nightvision goggles. "Izzy? Watch my back. I'm going to go get those parachutes.
"And if I die? I swear to The One I'm haunting you all." He glared just a little, and then grinned, opening the door out onto the porch and--unless he's molested--he snags all four of the parachutes.

As Ember studied the plant, she noted that the plants arms remained by its side. The creatures' posture remains passive and unthreatening. Slowly, one pale hand covered with living green tendrils touches the spot where Ember had stabbed, lifting the shirt to reveal green plants moving back and forth quickly. Before Ember's eyes, the plants were covered by new pink flesh. The creature lowered its hands, apparently healed of Ember's wound. It placed a hand on a small device that would fit ones' hand perfectly, then pointed towards the hall where the others waited. Lily's light flashed over the creature standing in shadow and Ember and Lily recieved a shock. The creature looked like a woman - a vaguely recognized woman from the training center medicinal plants station. Her eyes were glazed over and she was clearly dead.
Lily was able to secure half of the medicine in her pillow case, needing only a few moments more to secure the rest.
In the security room stationed at the window, Isolde stood with her bow at the ready. She frowned as she saw a shadow approach the main gate.
"Jan." She raised her voice. "Someone's at the gate."
Jan was on the porch collecting the four parachutes. The one for district seven was rather heavy but he was wrestling them all inside when he heard Isolde's voice. Looking up, he saw a muscular figure at the gate. Victoria with something that glinted in her hands, something metal.
Clank. Clank. Clank.. As Victoria's hand moved over the gate, the metal links came apart like butter. Victoria was cutting through the gate. Behind her, Glory was guiding Brass forward. Bogart stood at Brass' other side; Eclypse had something in his hand. Something small and metal. Eclypse's thumb moved quickly once, then twice...

"Is she... healing?" Lily paused with the bag of goodies in one hand and the scalpel waiting to be picked up, staring at the plant... woman... corpse in disbelief.
Lily looked at the console where the... thing had placed a hand, noting the small device.
"Hey Ember, what do you suppose that hand-device does?" Lily asked, at war with herself as curiosity tried to compel her forwards to find out and caution held her back from doing so.

"Jan...Someone's at the gate."Felix was startled back into consciousness when Isolde raised her voice. He had allowed himself to lay against the wall and disconnect from the world for too long. His thoughts had been with Kingston, the too graphic images replaying in his mind. Brass took one long stride, shifting grips and bringing his sword up over his head and down like some gruesome, straight axe as he adopted the half-sword stance. He brings that sword down across Sassinak’s bow arm, somewhere between wrist and elbow.
He didn’t stop there, bringing the sword straight down through flesh, bone, and air. He spun, a graceful artist with his chosen medium of pain and steel. Still in the half-swording the langswert, he takes half a step and lashes with the tip of the sword right over the boy’s axe and across his eyes.
The maneuver was devastating and vicious in both strike and purpose… but it left Brass open.
”You chose poorly,” he shouted. Whether it was at Felix or Coral, he didn’t specify. With Isolde’s statement, Felix reached out for Sassinak. “Help me up, please.” He said, pushing himself up and grunting as he moved his leg. “Someone go help Jan with the parachutes. We need him inside. Now.” Felix stood and listened briefly. “And someone else needs to alert Lily and Ember.” He felt his teeth clench for a moment. “Looks like we’re doing this now. Find a room for us to pretend to die in.”

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember’s eyes widened. A lesser person might have lost their lunch. A lesser person might have screamed. A lesser person might have ran, horrified from the room. Ember was made of sterner stuff. Still the remorse was clear on her face when she raised three fingers to lips and then pointed toward the dead woman. Even in death her service to the Capitol wasn’t over. And as much as life in the Districts sucked, their dead stayed dead. May the One save you and keep you. Ember thought. She nodded when Lily spoke. “Yes. She’s healing. The plant heals flesh wounds… I think.” There was only one way to truly find out. Ember stepped forward and went to reach for the device. Ember stepped in closer to get a better look and so she could study the plant some more. She went to reach for the device in the woman's dead plant hand. “May I take that from you, please? I've got some people that are hurt... We could use the help...” Ember said. Yeah, she was talking to the planet. It didn’t seem odd given what happened last Games. The Avenged showed the people of Panem what the Capitol was capable of. Ember Clay rolled 8 dice to "listening for someone calling her name" (0 successes) Hit Points: 19/21 Willpower: 5/6

The woman released the device in her hand and plucked something attached to the round device. It was a wire from the device running to the diagnostic tool and did not seem to disconnect easily. If someone wanted a diagnostic, it seemed necessary to bring them into this room. The woman - creature's head turned towards the door and cocked slightly.
"Someone needs to get you." Jasper leans into the room, signalling to Ember. "The careers are coming through the gate. Come on, lets go."
Jasper moved to the stair well and took up position with his bow, studying the unlocked door. Coral moved over towards Sassinak and Felix, assisting Sassinak in lifting Felix to his feet. Sassinak took ahold of Felix's arm and studied the two open doors.
"Security room that we're in now looks safe. We can block the doors." "There's just the lower room, the intelligence room and the scary plant medical room." Coral noted. "This might be it. Should we start screaming?"
Coral lifted the bow that was offered her, pulling out one of the arrows. "I could shoot whoever comes through that door."
"There's a window... we could always move outside if we get cornered and the careers get wise to the others' plan.

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember nodded to the dead woman/plant. “Little Bit, if things go to crap burn this factory to the ground... If you can,” Ember said to Lily. “If the Careers kill us, I don't want them using this to fix themselves up with this.” Here we go. Ember thought, moving with Jasper back to the security room. “Yeah,” she said to Coral. “Then after a minute or so each of you have the screaming die down. But Grumpy, Mermaid, and Boom-Boom while me and Charmin' are out there you guys haul the gear up here and pass it out. You'll have at the most five minutes. So do it fast and more importantly do it quietly and stay hidden. Sweetpea watch our backs from windows. And if all goes to hell like Sweetpea says go out the window. I'll be back... Give me 30 seconds and start yelling.”Ember rushed down stairs, with an evil smirk on her face. She looked at Jan and nodded. “Showtime Charmin'.” Ember said, opening district 12's back. A knife for her and... two cigars. She grinned grew brighter. And she sparked one up and put the other one in her pocket. If this didn't work, this might be her last few moments alive. The One be damned if she wasn't going to enjoy herself on the way out. “Cue screaming in 3...2...1...and Go...” Hit Points: 19/21 Willpower: 5/6

Time to prepare himself for this.
Jan starts going through the parachutes. District 9's first, and then he hands Ember District 12's as she comes down the stairs. The others are gone through after his own.
Through the whole thing, he's breathing deep. Saying a few prayers to The One. To Jace. This lie had to work. And it would. Because he couldn't fail in this.
Could not. Too many people were counting on this to work, though he was kind of getting annoyed with his group being the ones sticking their necks out. Being the ones having to lie, cheat, and steal in order to keep 'Team Rainbows and Lollipops' alive.
"This is it. After we get them out? We're done. Right?"

Ember Clay: District Twelve Female Tribute, “The Girl Who Loved to Play with Fire” Ember glanced at Jan and nodded. In the silence before the screaming started she took his hand in to hers and gave it a squeeze before letting it go. “Yea. After this. We're through.” Hit Points: 19/21 Willpower: 5/6

As the parachutes were distributed, Lily opened hers to reveal - Bracers
- Greaves
- Helm/Visor
- Studded Vest
- Canteen (Full)
- Three amber colored vials and one amber colored syringe for collecting the acid
Ember opened her chute to reveal Jan opened his parachute to reveal: - +4 knife
- (4) in ear communicators that are voice activated
Sassinak struggled to open the single parachute marked with district seven's emblem. She pulled out a camofluague kit, which she described to Felix. "The camoflague kit looks like the one at the center, Felix. The containers have a good amount of paint in them." Theres the clink of metal as Sassinak turned one of the metal cans in her hand. She set it back in the canvas bag, looking at the metal mirror that had come with the kit. A glance within revealed herself to be sweaty, with a blood streak on her cheek. She dropped the mirror into the camoflague kit and rubbed her cheek with her good hand. "Oh." Sassinak made a surprised sound as she pulled out an arm. It had a specialized grip at the end that would clip onto a bow string. Looking within the bag, she found a new terminal with a circular hand. She pulled it out and turned it over in her hand, realizing. "Its a sword hand. They sent me a bow string and a device to hold a sword, Felix!"Sassinak set aside the bow string terminal on her knee, placing the sword terminal back into the bag. Reaching into the bag, she pulled out a helmet. She turns it over in her hand, realizing that there was a dark visor over the eyes. "Theres a wierd helmet. I don't know how you would see..." Sassinak struggled to pull it over her head. She made a surprised noise, commenting. "This is for you, Felix. There's a note in here with how I can set this to recognize your allies and how to recognize enemies and threats. Here, put this on." Sassinak pulled it off and helped Felix into it. The device came with an ear piece that Sassinak assisted Felix with. It chirped some information. 'Girl at window with bow, four feet away. Girl with hand device 1 foot away. Two exits: window four feet to the left. Door six feet to the right. 'Sassinak reached into the bag and pulled out a jar, commenting. "Medicine! We can done this after the thing... but I'm going to pack this up so we can get with the plan."Sassinak packed the rest of the gear into Felix's backpack and she helped him into it. Sassinak picked up the terminal with the bowstring hand, but commented. "I can't get this on..."Coral stepped up beside her, stating. "I can help you, Sassinak." The girl from district four helped Sassinak attach the terminal hand and handed Sassinak the bow that Ember had given her. She accepted the Chakram from Sassinak, admiring Sassinak. "Not bad."Coral then declared that she thought that it was time to get with the plan. She opened her mouth and screamed. Sassinak squeezed Felix's arm to assure him that he was truly all right, opening her name to curse Jan. Brass The careers outside heard two girls screaming and cursing Jan's betrayal, calling him a jackal and a snake. "Looks like they got the jump on the sevens." Glory stated to Brass. "Eclypse, you have the lighter?""Yes. You want to light them all on fire?" "Should we get the nine and twelves out?" Victoria asked Brass. "Gates open. Come on." Brass felt a bit of metal tug on his clothes as someone helped him through the break in the fence.

Brass Power, District 2 Male
"Light it up." Brass moved through the hole in the gate with the assistance of the others. He couldn't see the factory beyond, but could certainly imagine it. "If they come out, hold to the agreement unless they attack first. Somehow, however, I doubt that the screaming in there is genuine. It's too conveniently timed. Had it been going on when we arrived, maybe the boy's got some spine to him and is torturing them. If not, they've had more than enough time to kill those within. And I don't believe in coincidence."
He moved toward with Glory and Bogart. "So, light the place up. Then we move on. Too much open ground for even one archer out here."
Boomer, District 5 male
Boomer nodded to the plan. He didn't like the fact that within the security room they'd be trapped with a single exit, but... What more could he do? When the order came down, he screamed his lungs out and made all sorts of pained noises.
