The Grey Mountains jutted up towards the sky with large grey boulders and chalky, grey bits of pebbles and dust underfoot. From far away, the mountains appeared to be quite high in stature; suggesting a trek. On approaching the base of the mountains, tributes discover one winding goat path that led up at a 20 degree angle. Running would be difficult yet hiding would be easier with several boulders and conifer trees lining the path.
After a few minutes of walking, one would realize the snow shoes provided were poor for walking here. You slid on the uneven ground, often unbalanced and forced to grab onto things to keep from falling. Perhaps some hiking boots would make things easier. Glancing upwards, you spy a black cave some ways away.

Rory Noland: District Seven Female Tribute
As Rowan and Jasmine were there at her back, Rory ran up and took Rye's backpack (if he had one). Her axe was out and the look on her face was one of subtle menace. But Rory was small, and not imposing. But what her alliance had just done to Rye, she doubted the other two boys were up for a fight.
"If we cross paths again we'll be forced to kill you," she told the boys, rushing back toward the mountains. Before she left, looked out toward the cornucopia, and sighed, meeting the boys' eyes for another moment. "I don't want to kill you. But I will if have to."
Rory looked down at her axe. Most of Cade's blood had flaked off. But she swore to herself that she could still see it. Then she dipped behind Jasmine and Rowan. "Don't keep me waiting..."
The last was meant as a joke, just a small glimmer of her old personality peaking through. Her dad had that deadpan delivery. Her cousins and uncles had that same dry humor, save for Wistar. She missed them all. She missed being the only girl in her family. She missed Gable. She missed the smell of pine. She missed home.
There is no coming home, Rory thought as she made it up the slope. Her snow boots were slippery and didn't work well with the terrain. We can't stay long here... We can't stay long anywhere. We're targets... I'm a target.
"Micha... Pearl... It's safe... For now."

The first thing that the Big Alliance would notice is silence after the loud 'Boom' that signaled the death of Rye. The boys had sneered at the girls but had turned and ran towards the Forrest. Hopefully, they would stay there. Yet the silence continues to stretch after Rory's declaration to Micha and Pearl. The girls from District 9 and District 4 did not reappear to rejoin their alliance. Glancing around the steep mountain, you do not see the girls awaiting you.
[Roll Wits + Survival!]
"Tank, you got that kit handy?" Rowan asks, glancing between Jasmine and Rory. "Whose worse off?" She inquired in a straight forward manner. "Pearl could use a touch, too." She reflected, raising her eyes to glance around the mountain. "Where did they go? They were right here when I turned around."

Jasmine Coverfield, District 11 Female[/u] Jasmine eased the last remaining gamemaker arrow from the kit she'd picked up, nocking it and glaring at the remaining boys until they sought less dangerous targets. She put the arrow back retreating into the mountains, waiting for a time for Rory and Rowan to catch up with her. Four people, she thought. She resigned herself to putting more arrows through more people... with her mind only pausing at Sorrel, Rory, Rowan, and Tank. The exercise helped to clear her head further, and she turned to lope further into the mountains with the rest of her alliance moving up into the steep slope. She stopped. Her wounds ached, her head rang, and their alliance was down to four for the moment. "I dunno... was focused onna someone else fer-a moment." She blew out a breath, looking around for the two little shields. If they reacquired them, great. If not... well, they needed to ditch the pair sooner or later. "I've got... a headache and a couple'a cuts..." She felt worse over the sums of her wounds, rather than their individual components. 10,3,8,2,4,8,10,7 (4 successes)

Rory Noland: District Seven Female TributeThey're gone, Rory told herself. I don't blame them. I put a target on their backs. She wondered if Micha and Pearl would try to rejoin Lallek and Jace of Team Backstab. Micha and Pearl weren't fighters. ]Still four on four... There would be heavy losses on both sides. I won't endanger my people anymore than I have. If we face Jace and Lallek we do so on our terms. Not theirs."They're gone," Rory replied. "All I've got is the cut on my arm and hand from where Silver slice at me and Emerald got me with an arrow or knife... I don't really remember. And they've pretty much healed." Rory looked down at her hands. She was a killer. They all were. The Games had changed them. Rory clinched her hands tightly, shut her eyes, and took a deep breath. She wouldn't cry. Not here, and not now. However, she could feel it in her bones; the one thing she had fought so hard against. The Game was changing her. Just like it was changing Jasmine and Rowan. And maybe Tank. "Micha and Pearl... they won't get far, unless they headed back down toward the forest. But we would have seen them. We didn't... Let's heal everyone up. And then we'll try to find them or more of these 'Kill Me' signs." Rory said, holding up the victor bracelet on her mother's locket. "Yeah, healing up is a good idea." Rowan agreed. She didn't have a first aid kit, so she couldn't jump in there. Or did she? "What did they send me..." She pondered as she reached into her Feast bag. She removed a glimmering, finely wrought axe that put her current weapon to shame. Rowan's eyes lit up as she turned it over in her hands, examining the light that reflected off of it.
"Not bad." Rowan determined, somewhat reserved. "So... Jace and Lallek..." She glanced between Jasmine and Rory. "Are we trying to avoid them?"
Jasmine could clearly see two troubling things about their current position. The first was that she could see big cat paw prints in the loose dirt by a conifer tree that Rory was standing beside. Some big cat had walked up the mountain just this way not very long ago. There also were three deep scratches in another conifer tree three feet from Rowan.
The last thing wasn't dangerous, but it was interesting. Jasmine & Rory spotted two sets of footprints leading up the mountain in sizes that would fit Micha and Pearl's boots.

Jasmine studied the surroundings, focusing through her headache. She'd killed Rye, but his punch had done a number on her head.
"Healin's good. But..." she took a breath. Was Rory okay? Must draw her aside for another talk later, she thought to herself before continuing, pointing at the two sets of tracks. "Ah'm thinkin' we might wanna do it elsewhere... Them's big cat tracks... And I think it might-a been affer our wayward tributes..."
She looked toward Rory. The small tributes were gone, and if what she was reading in the dirt was right, the cat was going after the small tributes... She didn't think it would be entirely a good idea to go trying to save them.

Rory Noland: District Seven Female Tribute
Rowan's got the best axe in the game... Rory thought as she smiled. But the grin was different. Hollow. And that warmth Rory always seemed to exude didn't quite reach Rory's eyes. She sighed.
"Lallek and Jace... are crafty. I don't want to engage them until we can meet them on our terms and not theirs," Rory replied to Rowan. She got the feeling that Gamemakers wanted them to clash.
"Here Jasmine. Chew on this bark. It might do something about that headache of yours," Rory said, handing her alliance mate some of the white willow bark she still had.
When Jasmine pointed to the cat tracks, Rory followed them and spotted Micha and Pearl's footprints. "The cat's following them."
Rory swore, softly and then pointed to the cave. "We could set up shop there."

Rowan glanced at Jasmine and turned to study where Jasmine had been looking. She noted the reference to the wayward tributes, but didn't comment upon it. She was devoted only to these four with her and wasn't verbally committing herself to anything further. This was the Hunger Games. Good kids wern't coming out of it. Rowan glanced over towards Rory as she spoke.
"Good point. Thought I saw Rachel near Lallek towards the end. Not sure if I like the idea of them recruiting, but we shouldn't focus on guess work. Maybe there will be another recap video soon."
As Rory mentioned the other tributes and the cave, Rowan inclined her head. "Yes, the cave sounds better. We exerted ourselves a great deal with that chase. We could heal up and eat." She glanced towards Rory, as though seeking her approval. Rory might feel the weight of leadership a little more.
Rowan began climbing up towards the cave, noticeably slipping in the snow boots. Each tribute had trouble moving in the snow boots here. There was no snow here, just gritty rock and dirt. The boots had the wrong tread for traction, making for slips and a bit of noise.

Jasmine accepted the bark and began chewing it while looking up at the cave that Rowan pointed to. She agreed with Rory's assessment of the cave, and was silently thankful she hadn't suggested hunting down the cat that was hunting the two other tributes. She took a deep breath and started climbing after Rowan toward the cave. Halfway, she stopped and swapped her snow boots for the boots she originally started with, and completed the climb in those.
As she got to the mouth of the cave, she took out her flashlight, passed it to Rowan and unslung her bow. Knowing the gamemakers, something else would be living in the cave. She took a breath and nocked an arrow. She took a couple moments to check it out, the distraction pulling pulling her away from her aches and pains. Both the physical ones and the emotional ones that would crop up eventually.
"It seems pretty clear..." Jasmine said, drifting back to the mouth of the cave. "We oughta check what Rye was carryin'."

Rory Noland: District Seven Female Tribute
Another recap would work... Rory thought. The last recap let us know Rachel had been watching us. And that had been an invaluable piece of information. The turncoat was with Lallek and Jace. Frankly, Rory hoped Rachel stabbed them while they slept to save her the trouble. But she doubted she'd get that lucky. The Gamemakers want them to fight.
"As much as I don't want Lallek and Jace gathering supporters, at least we know who she's with," Then Rowan looked at her and Rory felt the invisible boulder on her shoulders get heavier. She nodded, validating Rowan's suggestion with her approval. If we die, it'll be because I killed us.
"I've got a feast in my new pack. Don't worry, we won't stave." Rory said and then began the trek. It was hard in the snow boots and loud. Wouldn't be able to sneak very well in these shoes. When Jasmine exchanged her shoes, Rory did the same. She also served as Jasmine's back up into the cave. When they made sure it was clear, Rory began to set up shop. She laid out the tarp and then all of the packs on the edges to keep them done. She pulled some of the lemming meat and decided that she'd save the feast from the feast for later. She also pulled out for bottles of water for each of them. Then she checked Rye's backpack and revealed it's contents.
"I'll watch the mouth of the cave. I want everyone to eat and drink some water before we doing anything else. I'll eat after you all are done." It wasn't open for debate. She wasn't hurt. She actually felt better than every single one of her people. So of course she'd wait to eat after everyone else.
Rory walked to the mouth of the cave and turned her back toward her alliance, looking down at her hands. She was shaking again. I'm getting us home... I have to.

Jasmine Coverfield, District 11 Female[/u]
To say Jasmine ached would have been an understatement. Her head, despite the bark, still rang a little bit and the pair of cuts to her hand and arm, matching the one given by Diamond to her shoulder, stung with the sweat the flight and fight from Cornucopia, as well as the climb up the mountain to their cave had produced. When she dumped everything from Rye's pack and announced she would guard the mouth of the cave alone with a tone that said it wasn't up for debate, Jasmine's pride ached a little bit.
She scooped up the sword that had dropped from Rye's belongings, figured she'd earned it with the killing shot she'd delivered and the additional smear to her soul... if she still had one following the games..., some of the lemming meat and an extra skin of water before stubbornly limping to the mouth of the cave and plopping herself down beside Rory.
She adjusted her quiver and unslung her bow, setting it, along with Rye's sword, beside her. She undid the strap of the helmet and took it off as well, repressed a wince at the small crack Rye's fist had left in the hardened plastic, no wonder that blow had rocked her as much as it had, and set it next to her weapons. She looked over at Rory.
"Yuh ain't broodin' alone," she said and held out some of the lemming meat to her alliance mate. "I ain't bad off enough that we c'ain't still watch eachother's backs..."
And she meant that. Even if she were on death's door, she'd watch the other girl's back and do what she could to keep it from being stabbed. "Ain't nothin' you can do 'bout Rachel sidin' with the ^&%! career an' 'is li'l loverboy. Best we can 'ope for now is that she'll stab one'er'both of 'em in the night or they'll take care of her for us."
She took a bite from the lemming meat, shoving bark to one side of her mouth and meat to the other and chewed for a moment before carefully swallowing the latter and not the former. She looked at Rory. "You a'ight? An' be honest wit' me."
Jasmine didn't feel alright, but most of her aches were of the physical variety. She didn't feel bad for killing Rye, and likely Joel later on, but... she knew Rory had a bit more compassion left in her. She smiled. "I'm yer rock, lean on me if yer tired."

Rory Noland: District Seven Female Tribute
Sitting down, Rory rested her wrist on the tops of her knees, which were arched up off the ground. In her right hand was her axe that had lost some of it's shine since it came to her days ago. Rory had a half-empty water skin next her and she was crewing on a very small piece of the white willow bark as a small throb had started just behind Rory's eye.
Then she heard labored footsteps and Rory knew before Jasmine sat down that Rory's rock wasn't going to follow any order that would separate them.
Rory glanced at Jasmine with a chuckle at the "brooding alone" remark. Even if she was that bad, Rory doubted Jasmine would leave her side. The district seven tribute nodded when her alliance mate spoke of Rachel and Team Backstab. She was right. There was no use in fretting over something Rory had no control over.
So why was there this sinking feeling in the pit of Rory's stomach? Why did she think it was going to get worse? Apple had told her to leave her expectations back in the Training Center. The Games weren't anything she had ever dreamed of. However, Conrad had basically told her to trust in her alliance. Rowan, Tank, and Jasmine. She trusted them with her life. Losing Jace was hard, losing any of them... Rory would find it hard to carry on.
I'd have to. They'd want me to go on. Just like I'd like them to do the same.
Rory's eyes welled with tears but she fought it. She fought so fiercely not to cry, but in the her tears silently rolled down her cheeks.
"I'm not okay. I've been leading us all through this," Rory confessed. "The weight of the world is on my shoulders, Jazz. If we win, we would've won together. If we all die it'll be 'cause I didn't do my job." She laid her head on Jasmine's shoulder, allowing herself to be weak at least for now. "I don't know... I don't know if I'm good enough to keep us alive, Jasmine."

From the rock that Tank was sat on, he hadn't heard much of the proceeding conversation due to the loud ringing in his ears that was only just starting to die down. Shakily standing up and grateful he felt like he could keep his balance a lot more securely now, Tank surveyed the members of his Alliance. He hadn't taken much punishment through that event (someone was smiling down on him that's for sure...) but the others looked rather worse for wear. With Jasmine and Rory talking, Tank put his new medkit to work and approached Rowan to tend to any of her injuries. 25 - Tank rolled 9 dice to "Medicine" 10,5,9,2,10,9,6,4,3,8,8 (6 successes) As he worked away, Tank could help but admire and appreciate the high quality equipment he'd been sent, not that he hoped he'd need to use it heavily after this...

"Thanks, Tank."[/b] Rowan replies as Tank stitches the cut that she received on her back. It had been quite severe, but with Tank's ministrations it should heal quickly. The kit also provided pain relievers and anti - infection creams, things that Jasmine and Rowan could surely use. "Those punks sure were after us." [/b] She reflects, looking over to where Jasmine and Rory talked. "They saw the bracelet that Rory is wearing... and two of them got away. They may come after us again."
As the tributes recover in the cave, the environment outside began to change. A grey cloud cover rolled over the mountain, bringing with it the clap of thunder. The drizzle of rain soon pounded the rocky landscape, causing an ever present sound of rain drops overhead and the sound of rushing water as a small stream began to form outside of the cave. The amount of moving water suggested that this would be a heavy down pour. The temperature dipped ten degrees, lending goosebumps to exposed flesh.

Jasmine Coverfield, District 11 Female[/u]
Jasmine slid her arm around Rory, pulling the smaller tribute closer to her side. She let her head settle onto Rory's watching the mountainside outside of their little cave. She worried for Rory and the burden she was bearing was getting to heavy. She squeezed the girl, repressing a wince the gesture brought on from her existing wounds. She worried that the game was defeating them even if they were winning.. or won.
"We ain't gonna all die 'cause of you, Rory..." she murmured. "We're gonna make it through this. An' yer not alone. We're gonna make it."
And Jasmine, despite the run that the boys had given them, believed that. They'd need to play to their strengths and not out in the open like at the feast, but if they did... They would likely make it. Ambushes were their strength. With Lallek's help, they'd proven that in the future. She looked up at the sky with roll of thunder and the sudden downpour.
"What did the gamemakers give you?" Jasmine asked quietly, turning the conversation away from winning or losing. She shifted her own gamemaker kit around, losing her arm from Rory's shoulder. "Hmm... arrow makin' stuff... Without fletchin's. What do yuh think th'?? jar is?"

Rory Noland: District Seven Female TributeThe only indication that Rory was sobbing was the way her body convulsed. Tiny tremors shook her small frame. It was the lowest she had felt since the games. If it was anyone else Rory would be afraid they would see it as a weakness. But this was Jasmine. And Jasmine had a way of making what Rory always saw as flaws sounds like strengths. Rory nodded at Jasmine's words and wiped the tears from her face. They'd make it. She just had to push them just a little further. Then they'd get home. The feast that was given to her helped them fight off hunger. But what Rory really needed was a weapon. "Food. A lot of food," Rory replied with a frown. She looked at Jasmine's gear. "I think I can use this to make you arrows. Poison... explosive... I don't know what this one is... Here, let me take a closer look..." Rory examined the jar for a moment. Whatever it was, she hoped it was useful. "We should go back inside the cave. We can't be cold and wet." Rory Noland rolled 6 dice to "Wits+Investigation" 1,8,4,10,6,7,4 (2 successes)

Rowan was comfortable sitting towards the back of the cave with Tank. She started looking through her pack, removing things and lining them up in front of her. Two canteens, one nearly empty. The best axe was placed besides her dominant hand. The old axe slightly to the left of it. Her cold weather gear, the undershirts, fleece jacket and winter jacket. Rowan shrugged into the fleece jacket, observing. "The Fleece one isn't water proof, but the other one will be too hot. We've got an issue."[/b] She placed her small plastic jar that contained one remaining water purification pill besides the clothing. Her cooking pot. Glancing outside, Rowan picks up the cooking pot and her axe, approaching the mouth of the cave. She sets the pot outside, where the heavy rain begins to fill the pot with a continuous sound of reverberating off of metal.
Rowan stands and looks outside of the cave, staring up the mountain. She seems comfortable with the silence, not immediately speaking to Jasmine or Rory. Rowan is watching the rain come down, glancing up the mountain. Perhaps she's thinking of the other tributes who are out there somewhere. Then you hear something startling.
The cry of a big cat, a roar that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
Rowan's axe leaps into her hand in an instant, an expression of alarm on her face. "That's what we heard before -" She began when another terrible sound rolled down the mountain. Boom![/size][/b]
The cannon sound was close - terribly close - on this mountain somewhere.

Jasmine Coverfield, District 11 Female[/u]
Jasmine shrugged a little bit to the declaration of a ton of food from Rory. "Ain't bad... means we ain't gotta spend time huntin' things down fer the moment."
She also figured it would give them time to make arrows and rest, and get patched up. She'd need to get her cuts attended to before long. The nagging aches her wounds were causing her were adding up. She picked the jar out and offered it to Rory. She didn't know, and shrugged again before stand up.
"Yeah..." she agreed with the District 7 tribute. She didn't think that, with the storm going on outside, much would come looking for them. She drifted past Rowan, content for the quiet as well for the moment. She sat down next to Tank, frowning at the sudden yowling, growling, cat outside. It would seem her assumption of predators being dissuaded by the thunderstorm.
Her breath caught in her throat at the cannon blast. Likely one of the girls who were wayward from the alliance was now dead, judging from the proximity of the cannon blast. She took a breath. Maybe the cat wouldn't come looking for them after tackling the other tributes.
She somehow doubted it. Especially if the cat was an unnatural mutt and controlled by the gamemakers. She eased her remaining gamemaker arrow from her gamemaker gift and set it by her bow. "Tank... could Ah bother yuh tuh treat my wounds?"

Rory Noland: District Seven Female Tribute
"True," Rory said. "I just wanted an axe... Or some armor."
She was still examining the jar when Rowan went to join them. She looked better. That was good. One down, two to go. Once everyone was ready she'd get them moving. Rule one of warfare: if your enemies know where you are, don't be there. The Wasteland and the Meadow... That would be their next move. Maybe...
As Rory silently pondered what to do next the cat roared. She jumped, her eyes widening. Her axe rose. However instead of charging, Rory took a deep breath and listened. The cat was close but not on them. Rory glanced at her alliance. If she asked them to follow her, they would. But Rory couldn't do that. They needed to heal. And Micha and Pearl... she couldn't risk four for two.
Her expression blanked as Rowan spoke. Then the cannon blast and Rory's heart sank. Her hands shook and her eyes watered. Micha or Pearl were dead. "Just like Femra."

Tank rolled 9 dice to "Healing" 4,5,3,4,1,1,2,7,5 (0 successes) Picking up the medkit once again, Tank attempted to tend to Jasmine's wounds, but the cannon fire had clearly taken its toll on the tribute. The noise served to remind Tank that the Gamemakers had nearly blown him up on long ago... he had come close to dying at the tables with the other four. His hands shaking, Tank fumbled and dropped the scalpel. "I'm sorry... give me a moment..." Tank's face was white as he sat back down on the rock, a hand over his eyes as he shivered from the thought of what could have occurred not long ago if he hadn't moved in time.

"Tank, its going to be all right." Rowan, still holding her axe and casting one eye towards the opening of the cave, stood beside Tank. "Things are pretty bad." She admitted. "The explosion.. the big cat... but we have a feast, Jasmine can make arrows..I got this awesome axe. Look." She showed Tank the glimmering +5 axe. "Just take a few minutes. We'll still be here..." Rowan gave the other girls a concerned look, hoping she hadn't jinxed them. The contents that were laid upon the tarp were as follows: one full water canteen, one first aid kit, one hunting knife, one spool of fishing wire, one mirror, one sewing kit with - 3 needles
- scissors
- white embroidery floss
, one plastic container containing (6) water purification tablets and 3 pairs of black wool socks. "First aid kit." Rowan said happily as she bent and lifted the kit, glancing inside. The brunnette glanced towards Tank, mentioning. "It doesn't look as nice as yours, Tank. I'll try and get started on getting you ready for Tank, Jasmine." Rowan replied, donning a pair of plastic gloves. She opened a foil packet of antibaterial wipes and moved over to Jasmine, carefully cleansing Jasmine's scrapes starting from the one on her head to the one on her knuckle. She pulls out a silver tube and spreads a bit of white cream over Jasmine's open wounds. "To prevent infection." Rowan read the words printed on the tube. Rowan selected two butterfly bandages, looking over to Tank. "Can I watch what you do next, Tank?" She inquired. As she spoke, a small bell like sound rang out. One large white canvas parachute drifted into the cave mouth. Glancing within reveals packages for each tribute. Rory's package: - Studded leather throat protection (4 armor)
- Heavy gauntlets (4 armor)
- +8 axe
Jasmine's package: - Turkey (uncooked, unplucked) (1,000)
- 10 Arrows
- Improved (lightened) armor designed for small/female tributes (5 armor, +1speed, body)
- Camouflage Pants
- Compound Bow +4
- Camouflage Kit
Tank's package: - +4 Helmet
- +4 Arms
- +6 Chestplate
- +5 Axe
Rowan's package - + 4 Helmet
- running shoes
- rain tarp
- (10) +5 throwing axes

Rory Noland: District Seven Female Tribute
As soon as Tank spoke, Rory wiped her eyes. The anguish, fear, and despair was pushed down and locked away. If she won, Rory would deal with the trauma. If she didn't then she'd be dead and her worries would be gone. Either way, the emotions would be dealt with.
"Tank..." Rory said as she approached the group. She laid a hand on on his shoulder as she put down her axe and knelt on the other side of Tank opposite to Rowan. "We're here. And we're not going to leave. And I won't let you die. I won't let any of us die."
Her words were steady but her free hand still shook slightly. Rory rose. "Rowan, can you hold the flashlight for Tank? It's kind of dark back here. A little more light will help you both see what he's doing."
Picking up her axe Rory moved toward the mouth of the cave. Jasmine's arrow making kit called to her. She picked it up, "Jasmine, do you mind if I try and craft arrows for you?"
That's when the chutes dropped and Rory, put down the crafting kit for a moment to retrieve them. After she pulled the bags into the cave, Rory opened hers. Her eyes brightened when she saw what was in there. An axe and an armor. Apple... I know this was you. Thank you.
Rory sat down near the mouth of the cave and listened. No big cat. That was troubling.

Jasmine Coverfield, District 11 Female[/u] Jasmine smiled encouragingly at Tank, laid the bow she'd carried for a couple days now down, along with the gamemaker arrow. She couldn't seem shaken by the fact that their medic's hands now shook. As Rowan took over prepping her for Tank's more skilled hands, she said, "Take yer time, big'uy. We'll be 'ere when yer ready." She believed it too. Assuming that his moment wasn't days long. She looked from Rowan's work to Rory. Her wounds hurt, and stung more as they were touched and prodded and cleaned, and it helped not to watch it happening. "Yeah, go 'ight ahead, Rory. I'll 'elp when my treatment's done... Least we can prep shafts," she said, letting words drift off as Rory came back in with sponsor chutes. When Jasmine's was opened, she let her heart exalt for a brief moment. More arrows and new armor and a turkey... complete with feathers. They'd sent her alliance the necessary component to make her arrow crafting kit worthwhile. "Have at it, Rory," she said with a small grin. 6,1,1,8,4,6,8 (2 successes) 1,4,2,6,8,10,1,1 (2 successes) 9,5,2,1,5,4,4 (1 successes) 2,4,8,1,8,5,7 (2 successes) 7,8,7,9,3,2,6 (2 successes)

Rory Noland: District Seven Female TributeRory smiled. District seven kids knew their way around trees. Woodworking was something Rory could do since she learned how to properly use her thumbs. She worked fast and she was focused, though her shaky hands slipped her up a few times. She worked for a long time, trying to keep an ear out for the big cat, and any other dangers that might be lurking out there in the rain. And after awhile she began to whistle softly as she crafted the arrows. It was a tune some of the lumberjacks whistled. When she remembered where she was Rory stopped. 1,3,1,9,3,7,10,9,3,9,4 (4 successes) 2,8,2,8,7,3,5,5,7,3 (2 successes) 6,7,9,6,5,7,3,7,7,3 (1 successes) 2,3,4,6,2,7,7,4,4,5 (0 successes) 7,3,6,4,8,5,1,5,1,8 (2 successes)
